Re: FlashProManager 2.7.5

what more do you need derek? happened to me on 2 cars today. as soon as it does the firmware upgrade it can no longer "see" the ecu. check mark next to FP, but i don't think it's talking to it either as it won't load a file to the FP. first car was 8th gen on win10 laptop. after firmware u...

Re: CPR wiring help!!!

we can add PR4-A11 to the list of ECUs missing q37 as well. but very nice of Hondata to start including the circuit with the newest shipments of CPRs. some solder and this PR4 is ready. BTW - for those of you wondering where q37 is... orient the ecu with the plugs to your left (s300 should be in low...

did you get anything yet?
not sure why you installed rdx injectors, certainly no needed. the stock injectors have plenty of capacity and probably no one has done any dyno testing with them. i think hondata did some bench testing and they came up with 410cc. but again, why for an n/a car?....

ok, so there isn't a specific sensor for that. just look at the differences in final timing IGN on each datalog. will do.

Throttle Tip-In Compensation - new to 1.2.4?

is this new? i don't remember seeing it and it's not listed in what's new in this version. just wanted a clarification on how it works. i'll use the values shown in the help section under Throttle Tip-In Compensation in the index. if i shift from 1 to 2 and the return rpm is 2500 and the tps is 50%,...

sounds more like a/c idle up. you sure you don't have that checked. when i install 2 stage nitrous and use a/c button as arming input, no matter what the a/c settings, it will idle up.

sorry, just wanted to add that you must check the box for 3 bar map sensor in the rom editor software and reburn the chip. so that's really 2 things to do - change the hardware and the software. some might think just switching the sensor will work.

the GM 3 bar part # that works very well is GM#12223861. all the others will cause you immense problems. the hondata (motec) sensor comes with a wire harness. if you order the GM sensor and the correct harness it will cost more than the hondata sensor. most just deal with this because of the availab...

some of my customers have the same problems even with the new sheilded cable coming in the kpro box. before that cable, hondata had a custom cable made with an enourmous choke on it. this is what i have and it never disconnects. however, i have no idea the size of the choke or where to get it. there...

ikon671's injectors weren't RC, but we have seen this problem before. on large injectors it's difficult to open the pintel small amounts and quickly. that is why an idle ratio of 13:1 was suggested. when that didn't work, that's why they were flow tested and the problem was found. RCs are generally ...

if it's like AEM and some other stand alones, there is probably a table. generally the sensor becomes more sensitive (volts needed to trigger a knock) as rpm increases. there are a million things is the stock ecu and i figure they only have so much time to discover them all. always check your plugs ...
