The air temp will be high if you removed/not used the jrsc supplied relay. The relay only works to fool the ecu into thinking the temp is lower (cold) than it actually is so that the ecu increases fuel delivery (rich mixture). It is a mechanical hack that should not be used with a programmable ecu....

Re: another question

I think it would be bad, because it is leaning out without fuel. This leaning out would cause cylinder temps to climb, and in turn could cause the pistons to expand and score the walls. Could this happen with a fuel cut rev limit, or is it not that dramatic to cause any damage, thats my question Th...

Thanks for the response Spunkster. What about the second para, though?... Also, I've noticed in SManager, under Parameters -> Closed Loop -> Options, that there is a check box to "Disable O2 Heater". Does this mean that you could select this and not have to wire in the resistor when using ...

Okay, I'm confused again... In the tech support section under wiring there are two entries for the PLX Wideband: "PLX Wideband" and "PLX Wideband Wiring". The former says to install the capacitors while the later has no mention of the capacitors. So which one is it? Also, I've no...

There is no problem...that is just how they show up. They are old Romeditor V3 bin files that have been converted for use with teh s300. Don't change the injector size, just leave it however it shows up. In that case, what do you do if you want to upgrade to 550 injectors on the B18C? Also, why was...

I was just looking at a couple of calibration files from the "S300 Calibrations" forum using the new 1.1.6.0 version of SManager and have some questions/concerns... I opened "h22supercharger550.skl", "B18Csupercharger.skl", and "B18Csupercharger 12 ohm.skl". F...

PLX and capacitor

I've got a PLX M300 ready for install now and I'm wondering if the included caps are necessary for this application (w/ S300j)? I've searched the forums and not seen any mention of this...

Why do you recommend the PLX over the other widebands available?

I've been having the same problem with my P72J socketed by Payn Technologies: flashing light on blue box and car in limp mode. Runs fine when mechanicals set to stock and J1 cut (have a CEL for knock sensor only). Sent it back to Payn and they had it for MONTHS! Supposedly they tested it and could f...

Trouble with JRSC JDM B18C and Hondata S200b - Advice?

I'm having major problems with this system. I purchased an S200b system from Payn Tech 3 months ago and it has never worked. Payn sent out my P72J ecu for chipping and then sent it back without testing first. When installed, the car ran like crap with RC440s and the red light on the blue box was fla...
