Re: VSA - What does it do?

We are still awaiting a diag from the latest failure as to what exactly has happened. Currently the only known info is that it has low compression in one cylinder. It could be something as simple as a head gasket, we just haven't heard back on that specific instance. The other instances of failed mo...

Re: VSA - What does it do?

Are the J's that much more sensitive than the single port K's? Apparently the single port K's have been making >400whp on stock internals with great success. Both of the recent failures were road tuned by probably one of the most well known FlashPro tuners. Is there something inherently wrong with t...

Re: VSA - What does it do?

Please don't think this is a witch hunt for VSA. I was merely hypothesizing to try and determine the root cause of some of the engine failures seen as of late. Both were tuned properly by professional tuners and had no knock detected during tuning or on datalogs. The latest failure we have not seen ...

Re: VSA - What does it do?

Just to clarify so there is no confusion - I'm sure KN is referring to the VSA/TCS system as a whole, as the VSA is vehicle stability combined with traction control. In this case, we're likely just concerned about the potential of the TCS system to massively retard timing to reduce wheelspin and the...

Re: cannot upload a manual calibration

Thanks Spunkster, that did it. Working in IT, it is counterintuitive for me to think a beta would perform better than the latest stable release. Next time I'll remember this on this stuff. Thanks again!

Problem loading calibration after upgrade to 1.93

I don't want to cross post, but I think this section gets more attention. I can no longer upload a manual trans calibration as I had before with 1.83

Thanks

Re: cannot upload a manual calibration

I knew I wasn't crazy. I found this on the list of Hondata updates: FlashProManager 1.8.0.0 Beta Thu, 04/03/2014 - 1:00pm · FlashPro firmware updated to version 62 · Bluetooth enabled · [07-08 TSX] Added ability to program AT ECU with MT program · [TL] Added ability to program AT ECU with MT program...

Re: cannot upload a manual calibration

After further investigation, I see this posted on Hondatas site: -Can I use an 08 AT TL ECU with my MT? No. That ECU is not supported for overwriting with a MT program. Is that new, or changed information for some reason? I purchased my Hondata and ecu a few months ago and the vin on the ECU is sayi...

cannot upload a manual calibration

Hi, I had my calibration loaded and working fine. Recently flashpro manager was updated and when i connected my flashpro it said it had to update the firmware. It did that, then I downloaded my calibration, made a couple changes and when I went to upload them it said it was trying to upload a 2007 m...

Re: Is can wiring required for ECU swap?

Thanks. I'll take that as a yes, the 07 ECU uses CAN to communicate to the HDS. I have my own HDS, and I was able to connect to the 04 ECU with no problem. When I connected the 07 ecu, I would get a prompt asking if it had a push button start, but it wouldn't connect. I wasnt sure if I was just gett...

Is can wiring required for ECU swap?

Are the Canbus wires from the can connector to the DLC required to do the replace ecu command on the immobilizer? I wanted to get the ECU swapped over during the week and then spend the weekend taking the dash apart to run the wires. Is that possible, or does the 07 ECU only work on CAN and won't co...

Boost control solenoid

Does the TL Flashpro Manager support the Boost control solenoid? If not, are there plans to incorporate it?
