Re: ELD d10 not working! can only use d14 primary o2 sensor
The issue I'm having is hesitation while the engine is cold, I think I'm going to order a new voltage regulator chip and capacitor kit. Also I now have issues with larger injectors and the idle not working properly, I found my issue as to why the open loop wasn't working, my ground wire for pin eith...

Re: Old AEM wideband install into S300v3 P28
wide band sensors burn out faster, if you are in a pinch you could alter your program back onto the narrow band until you replace your wide band, also the reason for using d10 pin is for voltage clarity, the O2 narrowband only sees up to 3.83 volts or something where the D10 with the cut resistors h...

Re: Power source for A12 Fan signal
current has nothing to do with how close to the battery you are, the relay will have a current is uses in it's internal coil that will trip the actual 12v feed that the Fan is using. you haven't explained enough of your circuit to have a proper answer of what is drawing what current on what wire, al...

Re: Unable to tune in open loop but works fine closed loop....
also I started tuning the car from the start in open loop, if you've started tuning from scratch in closed loop, the injector dead times could be off, or the fuel table could be way off, have you started a new calibration from open loop, and adjusted the dead times until your car starts and runs ric...

BACK FROM THE DEAD! problem solved! This may be an issue for me only though so don't get your hopes up. This is a solution if someone is having an issue where your car will start and run for about 4-5 minutes or until warmish, then won't start no matter what you try. Today I was poking around in my ...

Re: ELD d10 not working! can only use d14 primary o2 sensor
you sure your looking at the ECU D10 pin correctly? all the schematics online are oriented as if you were looking at the back of the D plug and it was plugged into the ecu, from left to right, alternating numbers top to bottom so top row is 1,3,5,7,9,11,13.... and bottom row is 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16....

Re: setting up boost solenoid
by safe way do you mean so you don't detonate? you should only need to reach 5 or 6 psi to figure out the settings for how your solenoid behaves to get it dialed in, you won't need to reach 14 or 20 psi with your 1 degree per psi in timing, if that's what your wondering.

Re: Cold boost cut
I also noticed that your fuel injectors are 1000cc, and that your overall fuel trim is 30%, it should be at 0%, I'd have a second look at your dead times and make sure they are correct, and if they are maybe your fuel rail pressure isn't correctly set. any chance you have a datasheet for those injec...

Re: Unable to tune in open loop but works fine closed loop....
here is a copy of my calibration, it could be in either closed or open loop, but everything else is the same. the data logs when the RPM and MAP sensor get wavy is when it's in open loop and when they go solid or nearly flat I updated the ecu to closed loop. I also erased the ECU and uploaded this m...

Re: Unable to tune in open loop but works fine closed loop....
I took a datalog of me changing the calibration from closed loop to open loop so I'm going to look at that today, in the past my car ran fine with open loop and the wide band on the Primary O2 input D14, and nothing on the ELD input D10, my ground is on the chassis by the fuse boxes, and my voltage ...

Re: Unable to tune in open loop but works fine closed loop....
I'm now having this issue with idle surging in open loop only, using D10 for my wideband input source. I'll upload cali and log when my tuning laptop recharges. I don't think the ecu has ever received new capacitors so I'll be changing those and also doing some reverse engineering on the ELD circuit...

Re: ELD d10 not working! can only use d14 primary o2 sensor
Time to bring this baby back from the dead! update: 2017-06-21 The issue all along for me was that there needs to be voltage on d14 for the car to even start(i assume). for some reason there is a fail safe in the ecu(i can only assume), that will not let the car run unless there is a voltage present...
