I will be sure to do that, in the meantime here is the datalog i did this morning. Also, the crower cams required a valve lash of .008/010 I might change it to .009/.009, people say that works best.

ps - kdl could not load, so i will try it later.

Well, no dice on the new calibration, I got over 60 knocks, going up a hill in 5th gear (5 speed, sorry if i didnt mention that before cranny) I will do a more in-depth datalog and if it's something that I can't really find. Then I will more than likely post up here.

I can definitely do that, I know that my WOT is fine because I dont get any knocks or anything like that. It's just my part throttle that is the bad part.

cranny, I live in Missouri, same as Raz. The highest we have is Shell 91 and where I live in Missouri we have BP 93.

Raz - if it is indeed the winter fuel starting, should I tune it down or just use a good octane booster (not that STP crap)

K20A2/Crower Cams/PRC/CTRH/BC Spec 3

I noted a few days ago that i received over 120 knocks in 5th gear (most notably)as well as various gears. Even this morning, I got most of my knocks in 5th gear around 2500 and up in RPMS. Is this a temp change that's causing it? fuel? ignition? Any help cleaning up this calibration would be greatl...

doug,

could a bad O2 sensor also attribute to knocking with normal driving as well? meaning could it affect both my idle and driving?

now you're talking about idle tuning correct? I am going to try and do that today. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it's the O2 sensor. I believe I have a spare that I can swap in to check.

Very weird idle issue

Well, here's the situation. Every time i come to a stop light or whenever I even rev up a bit. The idle will hang at around 1500-1600 then drop to the 500-600 range...sounds pretty nasty too. I have attached the calibration and datalog showing this.

Recommendations anyone?

Sorry it took a while to reply back to you. Completely forgot to check this forum. I will be sure to post a copy of what I have in the next day or 2. For now, I would set your upper and lower boundaries like so:

Lower Boundary: 5800 at 90kPa
Upper Boundary: 6000 at 24kPa

The lower boundary is your usual VTEC point with full throttle hence the higher Kpa. The upper boundary is your VTEC point at part throttle. So for example, if your upper boundary was 6000 at 24kpa, you would engage VTEC at part throttle at 6000. What are your mods listed for the Crower cams? I have...

Can anyone check these?

Before I put my car in storage I did some datalogs and was wondering if anyone can check them out and make any changes b/c I am not that used to Kpro yet.
