Re: Flexfuel sensor turning off kpro board
Thanks for the quick support, that seems to have fixed the problem! On my first try I did get an error message and it didn't work on second try either. But after unplugging ethanol sensor it did work. I never turned on the ignition so second popup message after the success was a bit confusing. In th...

Flexfuel sensor turning off kpro board
2003 S2000 with K-Pro4 serial 42646, kmanager 4.5.5 I've been running with this ecu for several years, right now it is on a SC setup. Latest modification was new EV14 1500cc 8.5Ohm injectors and GM #13577429 flexfuel sensor. After this I have had major problems when trying to start the car. At first...

Re: Ethanol sensor question
Thanks for the reply and yes I'm fully aware of that since I'm tuning it myself.
Right now I'm just not that keen start all over with a full tank of gasoline, just wanted to get the sensor enabled and see how it reads.

Ethanol sensor question
Hi, I got a S2000 with kpro4. Car has previously been tuned on E85 and now I have installed a GM ethanol sensor just to keep an eye on the content. From my understanding I need to check " Ethanol content input enabled " to be able to read the sensor data. I am guessing this also means all ...

Re: P0453 on S2000
Yes I have always had that enabled, I'm thinking if it was disabled this CEL might appear not the other way around.
Not sure where to move forward but I guess I will check purge solenoid and maybe the canister as well.

P0453 on S2000
I have a European 2003 S2000 with kpro4 and it has been running good for years. Recently on cold start I sometimes get the P0453 code, which is EVAP system pressure sensor high input. I'm pretty sure there is no such sensor on my car, since this ecu is for a RSX I'm not sure if this CEL is triggered...

Re: MAP sensor readings
Great thanks for the confirmation, sensor is located on TB just like stock so shouldn't be any problems then.

MAP sensor readings
Vehicle S2000, Kpro4, Kmanager V4.5.1, PRB calibration. I'm installing a supercharger setup and before first startup I wanted to calibrate my new SOS 3 bar MAP sensor and make sure it reads correctly. I have set MAP sensor as custom with the provided calibration data from SOS. With ignition on I was...

Re: Another PLX Wideband to KPro V4 Install Diagram
I don't even think there is a separate analog ground output on the PLX.
The output for the DM6 gauge that you used in your drawing is very low voltage (not 12V) if I remember correctly and that ground should probably not be used for anything else.

Re: Another PLX Wideband to KPro V4 Install Diagram
It looks correct to me but you shouldn't need to connect the analog input ground. The input board is sensitive so it can probably be destroyed if the ECU ground is lifted or have a bad connection. I'm using a PLX wideband as well but I have it connected via the digital interface, well analog is conn...

I had a similar issue before when using a really old and kind of slow laptop, problem went away with a newer laptop.

Re: VTEC engaging below set parameters
Your atmospheric pressure reads way low, are you on high altitude?
I'm not sure if the ecu compensates for this and causes VTEC to switch on "earlier" but hopefully the Hondata guys will confirm.

You didn't see this? https://www.hondata.com/news/blogart94 California has ordered a shutdown of businesses. Hondata is operating with minimal staff and will shut down in the near future. During this time existing orders will be processed and phone support will not be available. Technical support wi...

Re: PLX Stopped communicating
The gauge and the kpro board is reading the same serial data from the sm-afr module.
If the gauge works by it's own and stops working when the kpro is connected it seems like it could be some wiring problem.
Unless it's the kpro board itself that is the problem but that seems a bit strange?
