I'm just wondering why an 05-06 O2 sensor can't be used. What's wrong with it exactly? I bought the 05-06 piping for my 02 RSX and on the cat section was an O2 sensor (in the primary O2 hole). Here's an update. I found I was getting power to E9 but not A2 or A3 which is relay activated by E7 grounding out (probably when E9 has power). Well, I manually grounded E7 and I'm still not getting power at A2 or A3 (or C101-14 where they split off from). Time to troubleshoot my Del Sol's dash harn...

I just wanted to confirm something but all that we need connected to get the ECU to connect to the laptop are ECU connector E, connector A, C101 and have the RSX harness grounded near the injectors, right? I'm just looking at the wiring diagrams and looks like A4, A5, A23 and A24 are grounding point...

My friend's K24 swapped RSX needed a replacement O2 sensor one day so I gave him my 02 RSX-S O2 sensor. He said he'd get me a new one. It was too loose. Barely any gap now and it sounds/feels good. Weather is nice again... Looking for a nice calibration again. :)

I haven't gotten any new calibrations yet.

I'm going to attempt a little bit of tuning so that my K-Pro doesn't have to compensate as much in closed loop. My AFR is way off in open loop. :S I'm trying to understand how the lambda and fuel adjustment tables work... Because no matter what cam angle I change to, the tables remain the same. Only...

Discovered the cause of the "knocks". Had valve lash. Engine sounds and feels a lot better on various stock calibrations. Hardly ever see the MIL light flash now.

Well, I'm going to have to start fresh. Haven't had a chance to datalog yet.

I hope I did everything right. I put it in open loop and had the MIL flash on knock. I did see it knock a bit but not too bad.

Not all driving was aggressive in case data is needed for non-WOT driving.

Might have to wait until the weekend. My oil seal behind my crank pulley is leaking. I'm bringing it in to have the seal replaced. I don't feel like pulling the engine agian. :)

The VSS on the 02-04 transmission is different from the 05-06 VSS.

If your friend is willing to give you his transmission, and engine harness, it should work I believe.
