Re: Mac valve and relay question.
Yeah man reading your response for a second time earlier made me get the idea you may of thought I was talking about using pwm output to hit the trigger side of a relay, so that is why I put the 2nd response, thanks a ton for the input man I appreciate it. Yeah I do under that that would be totally ...

Re: Mac valve and relay question.
I re read the post and just wanted to make it clear that i was not referring to using the pwm output wire to trigger a relay, one wire of the mac valves wire is connected to an already triggered relay , and the other wire from mav valve to ecu. I'm already going to move it over to switched 12v feed,...

Re: Mac valve and relay question.
Right I understand the concept of a relay, and I understand sometimes many devices have a low amp draw and relay would not be needed. I have ecu ground triggering fan relay and also fuel pump. Many cheaper relays do not have a diode and the the coil disconnects on relay it can get a large voltage sp...

Mac valve and relay question.
Recently I noticed in the install faq that you should not should not have a relay to power mac valve. I have been running one like this for a long while with no issues, however I do not want to damage the ecu. I also use relays that are ground triggered by ecu which can be a bad thing if you're not ...

Re: Questions about engine load vs throttle position
Ok so that is what I thought in regards to the tps. So if same vacuum reading is achieved at different throttle positions under different conditions, the condition with the larger throttle opening would be putting more air into the cylinder therefore need more fuel to reach the same afr, yet it woul...

Questions about engine load vs throttle position
I have a question that came to mind earlier when I was driving around and checking out engine load at different throttle openings, gears, inclines etc via map readings. I noticed on some hills and different gears that sometimes the engine load (vacuum reading) can be the same at different throttle o...

Re: low cam / high cam crossover question.
This isn't something you need to worry about. When your vtec parameters are met it engages the solenoid. On cars that have the circuitry and a vtec oil pressure switch it checks to make sure there is sufficient pressure for this to operate. Only US ECUs have this circuitry. Thanks for the reply i w...

Re: Need help cleaning up map, Another B18c, Integra
I'm still learning so my input does not need to be taken as fact but the timing looks a lil agressive once it goes into boost. What fuel are you running?

Re: low cam / high cam crossover question.
Thanks for the reply , it was just something I was randomly thinking of one night, not an issue i'm actually having. I was just curious if the map crosses over once the provided vtec rpm is reached or if it there was more to it then just that. I know there are settings to enable/disable vtec oil pre...

What fuel are you running. the high cam timing looks a lil agressive, but I am just learning so I could be totally wrong.

Re: What tablet
There are some 3rd party apps for android that can display info via usb otg cable. If all you're wanting to do is display sensor output that should work for you.

low cam / high cam crossover question.
I have searched some but have not found exactly what I was looking for. My question is in regards to the the switching of vtec fuel and ignition maps. If vtec does not physically engage on the motor does the s300 calibration still switch over to the high fuel/ignition tables at the rpm in which vtec...
