Re: K Pro Speed sensor
You can run an rx7 tailhousing which has a vss sensor on wormwheel. Or use a 0-5V crank sensor on your prop and make a 4 toothed wheel on your prop for vss

Re: Alternate Vss Voltage
OK So, for future refrence for anyone using the Hondata Kpro Alternative speed sensor you require a 5v Square wave. If the gearbox you are using has a VR sensor this alone can damage the kpro. You require a convertor to take the sine wave from VR and a chip to create 5v square wave for the vss input...

Re: Alternate Vss Voltage
you posted a link showing 0-5v for analogue but the vss is on the digital part. i take it this is still 5v? :)

Re: Alternate Vss Voltage
ok Perfect.
0-5V Square wave..
Next question. if i used the stock vss input pin on the ecu would that take 12v square?
And if so would i still be able to calibrate my pulses per mile using the stock vss ecu pin? or is that for alternate only
Thanks very much for the responce

Re: K Pro Speed sensor
Thanks I thought I would be able to do counts per mile in the Ecu and output to cluster. Guess that would be too easy How about a digital dash mate?> ive just installed a powertune dash and it uses CAN from hondata. if you manage to get a vss signal to your ecu it will display mph off it no problem...

Re: K Pro Speed sensor
so am i right in saying that the vss input needs to be 5v square and not 12v ?

Alternate Vss Voltage
Hi Guys, Hondata working awsome with the engine. love it. now VSS input. I had vss input by using the stock fd transmition sensor that feeds the stock clocks. stock clocks take the signal and convert to square wave and all was working perfect BUT>>>>> Ive installed a DIGI Dash from powertune so i no...

New update bug?
Hi guys. Out mapping tonight with the new firmware and software updates. Finding that the temps are wayyy off. I use celsius and the display is showing the farenheight number with celcius symbol. It’s also then going into my fuel and ign corrections in parameters but not actually changing the timing...

Re: Kpro fueling problem.
Of course.
So I have found that every other angle in low cam and in high cam tune fine.
Just not low cam vtc 10 table?? Weird.

Re: Kpro fueling problem.
Ok ok. Soooo we have some improvement. Using the locking feature 10deg vtc still not taking fuel but saying that. 20,30,40 do and 0,10,20,30,40,50 do in high cam So it seems that for some reason it’s only 10deg vtc on the low cam that won’t increase fueling. Strange. None the less the rest is doing ...

Re: Kpro fueling problem.
I seen that yes. I will try use that function.
Even at 9deg I didn’t think it would interpolate from other tables that much?
Like I say. I’ll try that function. Once I’ve tuned them tables on low cam I’ll start on the vtec tables.

Re: Kpro fueling problem.
I am just populating the low cam vtc table to 0 until 1500rpm then the rest of the table to 10vtc.
Command showing 9.
Actual bang on 9 also.
Even in closed loop. Target afr 11.5 and actual 12.8

Kpro fueling problem.
Hi guys After successfully getting the fuel curves correct for 0 vtc I then went on to tune 10 degrees vtc to find that my changes don’t change the afr. It doesn’t matter if I add 5% or 40% to the map it doesn’t make any difference to the AFR. Closed loop or open loop, it always runs lean. Fuel pres...

Re: Kpro v4 alternate vss.
sweet. I got it working. The stock clocks take it in at ac 8 pulses per rev and convert it to square wave 4 pulses per rev. Now I’m just rounding down the pulses per mile. So that’s sorted. Is there a setting that don’t let lambada overlay work in boost colums. Even holding steady in a cell in boost...
