I think you need to get it retuned since quite a bit has changed. i know :( i thought i could do it myself.. well, i decided to just ditch the turbo kit and go N/A, anyway. i have school coming up and i need to be able to concentrate on that, and not on a car that gives me trouble 24/7. i'm tired o...

When you say that you added "some", how much are we talking? as stated above: 2% on cyl 2 and 3. my tuner did that for safety, but i took it out because i used to have the OPPOSITE problem that i do now: it would bog when shifting quickly or stabbing the gas pedal. once i took that out, t...

the map is the same as it was before i swapped out the parts above. right now i have nothing added, anywhere. i tried adding some in and it made no difference.

fuel pressure is stock. i never mess with it.

lean at tip-in/sudden acceleration. no fix!

i'm still playing with my tune, but i have a problem i can't solve: while accelerating from a stop or at low RPM, when i give the car a decent amount of throttle, the car "misses" or stumbles before accelerating. while watching the wideband, i can see it go lean for a bit. it appears on th...

Look in the help file under 'Windows/Parameters Window/Boost Control' or do a search for 'Boost Control'. I'll update the index/contents. I believe I answered the question about the origin of boost by gear - the idea has been around for 20 - 30 years. If you are looking for another answer, then wha...

it sounds like he has an issue with how far the RPMs drop and how slow they drop/come back up. he's probably thinking of AEM and other 2-steps that crackle and pop and seem to be keeping the RPM at the desired level. with hondata you get a "slower" rise and fall of the tach needle. am i cl...

Every OE turbo vehicle will control boost from the ECU. ECUs have been used to do this for at least 15 years. In racing I believe that the concept of delivering a constant torque to the wheels by altering engine torque in each gear has been around since the inception of electronically controlled wa...

I'm sorry for not being more specific. I idle in column 2 and three. I use a wideband for my tuning. What I mean is that in the delta lambda menu for the fuel maps, the window that shows how many parts of fuel you are away from the target. This is the window where I am getting my huge negative valu...
