Just got my p28 back today and hooked everything up. I pulled a cel right off the bat when i started the car. I tried to jump the diagnostic plug with a paper clip and i got a steady cel. However the car idles funny then levels out. on the hondata application on my laptop it reads cel 23 (knock sens...

Okay so i did a little more work on the car today... I'm having the similar problem. However me and my friend installed the s300. Perhaps you could give me some insight on what to look out for? I didn't really know anything about installing any of it but my friend is an Electrical Engineer and has done lots of similar work with other systems and board...

the sponge is for removing any buildup of oxide on the tip while soldering.

okay i get that.... so why would you ever need to use d14? shouldn't it be the same thing as far as datalogging on any ems?

thanks spunkster that helped a great deal... however i was asking around on the innovative forum and they said it was kind of strange to hook it up to ELD on d10.... one guy stated that he hooks up to signal wire on d14... is there any reason why they'd be different? or any explanation why we hook u...

For Spot 74HC373, is it okay to use SIP sockets or DIP sockets in this location and just stick the chip in the socket? i think it would be a lot easier if say i want to remove it and also it's a lot safer during installation.
