Tuning Finally Complete
My tuner finally returned from Italy and got in touch with me. I had him read over this post and he then knew exactly what going on. He added the relay into the wire harness for me. Then finally after 3 months I got the cars tuning finished. 171hp/128tq peak values relatively flat torque curve and a...

Just thought I'd ask. I'm a mechanical guy, all this electrical stuff is a bit challenging at times for me to understand. Status update, I finally got in touch with my tuner, he is back from Italy. I had asked him to read over this posting. Last night he added the relay and it works on his test benc...

RMS and carchitech I have a few questions. 1. The modifications carchitech is suggesting is not on the obd1>obd2 wire harness is it? It is actual modifications to the cars wire harness, right? 2. Is it a possibility to change out the '99 solenoid to an obd1 '94 solenoid? 3. I have been trying to fin...

kaj and RMS Guys I really appreciate the help you are providing. I wish a Hondata tech would have been just as helpful. Unfortunately I am still without a Hondata S300 in my car. I am at a point of reevaluation the use of Hondata in my car. Option #1- A special prepped P28 ecu would work. Option #2-...

I am basically at the point now of asking myself what are my options. First if I had known additional work was required to get the OBD1 ECU I may not have selected the S300. Secondly I am very disappointed that my tuner had no knowledge of these issues. I am also extremely disappointed that HONDATA ...

So let me get this straight. There is no way the OBD1 ECU was operating the IAB circuit. Then before the ECU was modified how come I could hear a change in the engine when the butterfly valves opened @ 5600rpm just like with the Stock OBD2a ECU? Secondly why is this the first time in 6 years I have ...

Hondata S300 Nightmare (Updated--Nightmare no more)
Since mid November I have been trying to get a Hondata S300 prepped P72 1994 ECU in my car. Simple enough you?d think. During the tuning process of this ECU it was found that the IAB circuit is not working, the massive 10 hp drop between 4400~5200rpm was a definitive sign. Strange I though, since th...
