Is there a way to determine if an ecu is for an automatic by looking at the part number? What about an automatic with vtec? Thanks

Thanks for your post. Sorry about being so vague in my last post. This is the first time I'm using my laptop to communicate with my ecu.

I got it to work, when I change the launch rpm in the parameters window, do I just upload it to the ecu? Thanks again.

I don't have any error codes, the screen doesn't do anything with the engine running or not. All I want to do is set the launch control. thanks

my car was dyno'd and raced, i never set the launch control due to vss not working. i fixed vss and want to set the launch rpm, but i can't get the ecu to communicate with my laptop. this is the first time i am trying to use my ibm notebook to set anything. i went through the driver install and the ...

How do you splice in a gm map sensor to a honda wiring harness. obd1? I need to know what pin D17 (map sb), D19 (vcc1), and D21 (sg1) are so i can splice in my gm map.

I downloaded it but couldnt find what errors could be disabled. Is it even viable to modify a wiring harness to be used on a race only car? I dont want all the mess under my dash.

what about the vss, a/c,etc. And if I keep only the pins that are needed, supply power and grounds, will I be able to use the hondata on my race car? Would you be able to advise me as i make my harness?
