Re: Won't download properly. SManager or hardware/firmware glitch?
New and old S300s work different for downloading the calibration. If no calibration was uploaded to the S300 (not ECU), then there is nothing to download. Obviously if nothing was uploaded to the ecu there would not be anything to download... I uploaded to the s300v3 about 30 different times, using...

Re: Unable to tune in open loop but works fine closed loop....
I also got this problem ,i can tune in closed loop and it works fine, only after i did a pull and stop for traffic lights than idle fluctuates for a 60 sec orso and sometimes stalls and when i try to restart the car it wont run until i wait a few minutes then it runs perfect again and that is very f...

any luck?
check injector plugs for power with key on.
check injector plugs for signal with noid light.
if the above is all good, have the injectors flow tested, make sure they're not stuck closed.

Won't download properly. SManager or hardware/firmware glitch?
Just received a new s300 unit. Installed and tested, and everything seems to work correctly in a known good ecu. After uploading a map, if I try downloading the map from ecu to laptop it doesn't get the popup warning or a progress bar for reading the ecu; it just opens a stockp28 map. If I plug my o...

Re: Decoding Post Start Fuel Rate of Decay
thank you for the info. I'll have to do some more playing around with mine once the weather gets a bit warmer. E85 and 10-20*F temps don't get along well for cold start haha

If you aren't already, join the facebook group HONDA PRELUDE. Several of us including myself are Hondata dealers and can sell you a complete ecu with hondata installed. I personally don't have any ecu's in stock currently, so I can't quite help you beyond recommending who else to buy from. But as a ...

Re: Hondata Boost Controller
Almost all manual boost controllers on the market are absolutely terrible. They cause boost levels to fluctuate a LOT and very inconsistently with different climates, and adjusting them can be a huge PITA. With and without a manual boost controller, boost levels can be awkward too, meaning depending...

Re: Boost control & PWM output control
That's still wrong. You need to select maximum boost at 100% duty cycle. You should have wastegate actuator plumbed to port #2, and boost source plumbed to port #3. Port #1 should be left open. Anything different than the above is wrong, and will not work correctly. Also, the reason you had differen...

. ... better explained: When you start the engine, the primary runners are open. These runners are shorter and suited for low and mid-range rpms. The secondary runners which on my engine are set to open at 5750 are longer runners that are suited for higher rpms. Yes? Is that correct? . No that is b...

Re: Biginner Questions
You're going to need a professional tune either way. So at this point you're better off just leaving it as is and let the tuner handle everything from here on out.

Re: Boost Controller issue?
10hz is WAY too low.
Mac solenoids operate at 30hz-60hz. Why hondata has the default value set at 76hz, I have no idea. But I always use 45hz with every car I tune, and it's almost always perfect. Try 45hz. If it still pulses slightly, try 55 or 60hz

Re: ID1050x Injectors
any chance you can upload a picture of your fuel tables or such? my car runs fine and such as is using the ID1000 deadtimes. when i tried using ID's it was super rich and my fuel values were like 1 or something i cant recall at the moment. 1% duty cycle at idle is totally normal. And not to be conf...
