Re: Changing injectors

Hondata wrote:Do you have DW800 or ID1000 injectors?

The DW800s flow at 800cc, ID1000s at 880cc.
I have the DW800s. 800cc is what I put in with your dead times and I still never could get the start up right. Once it started up though, they ran great.

Re: Changing injectors

Look at the ID1000 page: http://www.injectordynamics.com/ID1000.html The injectors flow just over 900cc/min at 3 bar and 14V (which is the standard test pressure and voltage). 1000 cc/min is comes from higher fuel pressures. In practice we found that 880 cc worked better than 905cc. Also if you loo...

Re: First start problems with Deatschwerks 800cc

Hondata, So using a stock map and changing the dead times to what you guys have listed for the 800cc injectors, the car is starting much better. It doesn't take a long time to crank anymore. The only thing that is happening is it seems to dip or bog as soon as it cranks. I have attached a pic and th...

Alright, thanks for all the responses.

It's odd it seems that the RSX ECU lacks a lot of the capabilities of the other Honda ECUs (Si, TSX, etc.)

Thank you very much. Are there any plans to have this be adjustable like S300 and FlashPro or does the ECU not support that?

Re: boost solenoid in 04-05 civic d17 kpro

Hondata,

For KPro, what is the fixed frequency that the boost solenoids operate at? Since we can't change it.

Re: First start problems with Deatschwerks 800cc

The RSX ECU does not use air temperature compensation for cranking. I'm disappointed to hear that. I had a little more time to test yesterday and did two datalogs of starting up. One in the early morning where the ambient temp was 73 deg and one a few hours later after the ambient temp rose to abou...

Re: First start problems with Deatschwerks 800cc

Hondata, I read the help file for tuning starting fuel for FlashPro. It was very informative, however, KPro does not have some of those tables. Tables like "Water Temp Fuel Compensation Cranking","Cranking Wall Deposit Compensation" and what I feel is even more important "cranking air temperature fu...

Hey Spunkster,

Nothing has been done to fuel pump. Everything in the fuel system is stock except for injectors. Stock injectors and startup were fine before I swapped them out.

Re: First start problems with Deatschwerks 800cc

Probably too much fuel. In the past people with the same symptoms as you have also found leaking fuel pressure regulator diaphragms and/or leaky injectors. Hmmm, ok. I may get in contact with Deatschwerks again then as these were brand new injectors and still under warranty. When you guys were test...
