Smanager freezes on vtec switchover

I have been using smanager for quite some time now on the same computer but just recently reinstalled smanager after it was accidentally deleted. It installed fine, opened fine and I opened my previously saved calibration. Everything worked fine while idling and adjusting and even as I pulled out on...

Setting them both the same means that vtec will engage ONLY at that rpm, and not between a high and low range.

Before you go messing with the temperature corrections do yourself a favor. Take a look at your battery voltage with the headlights on, then off, and with the fans on and off etc.. I had the same problem as you. I tuned at night and in the day it would run lean. I tuned in the day and it would run r...

Seems like an eff off?

Bump anyway. Some great suggestions in here that I think would make people change their mind when they say the hondata interface isn't user friendly.

Also I would love to see a system in place to lock out the ignition. That would make the systems value to me almost double just knowing that someone cant just bust my steering column and get away with thousands of dollars of my work. I know if a thief wants it, they will get it. but why make it easy...

I agree. I have used systems that use the arrow keys to move through the map and the A and S keys to add or subtract fuel from the tables. I think not only was it simple to remember, but the keys are literally right next to each other.. which made it as simple as resting my fingers on them, then nav...

I understand the issue with the single output on the aem. I just thought that using a wideband signal could somehow be more accurate in keeping a target AFR. I guess Ill put my narrowband back in and run them both, no biggie.

Closed loop and wideband.

So I have an AEM Wideband and I have been running the 0-5v output to d14 (o2) to tune with. However I was wondering if it was possible to use the wideband to run in closed loop? I have set it up and yet nothing happens, no short trim or long.

I attached a screen shot of my settings if it helps any.

I think it may be an injector wire. I played with my connections on my mpfi swap just off the jumper harness and the car started to run rough..almost like a subaru. when I tried getting to 3500 it broke up just before and threw an injector code and wouldn't pass 3500. Unfortunately I didnt get to te...

Weird Rev limit.

Ive noticed recently a strange occurrence with my s300 unit, which is installed in a p28 ecu. Sometimes randomly (at least it seems random) while trying to pull away from a light (or rev the car at all) the rev limiter kicks on at a measly 3500 rpm. It does this usually in each gear and it sometimes...
