service connector question.

I just bought a car w/ a hondata stage 2 system in it. I am trying to set base timing by jumping the service connector to remove ecu timing but I dont see a CEL come on and it doesnt seem like its removing ECU timing. does hondata disable the service connector or should I look for faulty wiring? is ...

It may just be the nature of the wideband you are using. This is why we only recommend the PLX Devices Widebands. Some of us had our wideband's before we got hondata. they arent exactly cheap most of us arent going to just go buy another wideband just to get it working with hondata. When I purchase...

2 decimal places like is currently available is more than adequate to tune any vehicle. You do not need the accuracy of 3 decimal places. the reason I ask for a calculation option, is that I cant get it to reflect the appropriate lambda. I put 0 volts = .68 and 5 volts = 1.22 but it never reflects ...

feature request / lambda input

Can it be setup so that rather than using a voltage conversion table for lambda, you can do a calcution of the voltage? eg. AFR = (volts * 1.6) + 10 or for lambda lambda = ((volts * 1.6) + 10) / (14.7) I use a dynojet wideband commander and this is the formula it uses to get the ratio from the volta...

I mean Smanager doesn't allow that many digits.

after I downloaded the new version it worked "better". It will sometimes change a 1 to a 2 or something like that which is kind of annoying because I use a dynojet wideband commander, and its votlage conversions can go down to the millionths of a volt. Hondata doesnt allow you to type that many digi...

Voltage / Lambda Conversion Table entry problems

why is it that when I type in a value in the lambda row of the voltage conversion table, it puts a value different than what I typed. for example if I type in 0.85, then press enter. It inserts a value of 1.18. and if I go the other way and type in 1.18, then press enter. It inserts a value of 0.85....

misfiring

Its a spark problem, check your plugs and wires. This was happening to me just the other day. it turned out to be my spark plugs. the metal part that the plug wire pops onto is a threaded piece that can be "unscrewed" apparently vibrations had unscrewed these on two of my spark plugs which obviously...

slick, that did the trick thanks.

Will it ever change it to be able to have the engine speed to 0? its useful to be able to test these things w/ out the engine running.

nitrous / aux control

Has anyone figured this one out? I have this same exact problem. I have tried the parameters stated above by hondata site admin but it will not turn the fans on. I know the computer has the capability to control the fan because if I check the "invert output" button it will turn the fans on but they ...

full throttle shift question.

Hello, this is my first post and I think Hondata is awesome! I have a question about the full throttle shfit. What are people doing for downshifting? I have my full throttle shift set at 6k RPM's. If I want to downshit and I am traveling at a speed that requires my engine to be above 6k, then obviou...
