Re: DBW ITB Tuning

After driving my '08 S2000 with DBW ITB's for the last 7+ years on a somewhat "daily" basis, I think I need to capture some corrections about some of the FlashPro functionality that is incorrect in the official documentation. I'm not sure where the best place to do that would be. Is this t...

well like i said it needs to be HIGHER or it will trigger the overboost again
Have you experienced that DTC with the "stock equivalent" tune? It has lower max boost values than I'm using.

Re: FlashProManager V3.1.2

Actually, I just found a datalog that includes the DTC for overboost. you need to set your tc max boost tables higher My tc max boost values are as high or higher than stock. I don't like the torque curve of the canned tunes, so I blended the stock values in the low RPMs with Stage 1 values in the ...

Re: FlashProManager V3.1.2

I've been getting an occasional DTC on full throttle 3rd gear shifts in my '18 Accord 2.0T w/ 10AT (P0234 Engine Overboost Condition) which puts the whole car in limp mode (Engine, VSA, ACC, LKAS, etc.). I haven't been able to capture it on a datalog, since it's intermittent. However, it seems like ...

Re: FlashProManager V3.1.2

I see in version V3.1.5 that the Stage 1 and stage 2 tunes for the 2018 Accord Touring 2.0T w/ 10AT has different values in the TC Maximum Pressure Ratio table than in older versions. I don't see any information about the change in the release notes, so I'm curious if there was some issue with the o...

Re: FlashProManager V3.1.1

I started to post this in the Accord 2008+ sub-forum, but decided that it might be better in the "beta" thread where it could be flushed out... I did some more testing with 93 octane on the Return To Stock tune AND stage 1 tune tonight, and confirmed that the stock tune has more consistent...

Re: FlashProManager V3.1.1

- Datalog VTS - we are looking at - FP Datalogging not switching off - I think this is because the ECU stays powered up for some time after the ignition is switched off - Sensor overlay - already fixed - Knock - seems ok. The knock control is in the 50% range which is fine. - Knock ign limit table ...

Re: FlashProManager V3.1.1

If it helps, I've attached a similar datalog of the stock equivalent tune for comparison.

Re: FlashProManager V3.1.1

I recently purchased a FlashPro for my '18 Accord 2.0T w/ 10AT, and have noticed a few issues. * Datalogs recorded on the FlashPro itself do not include VTS. That parameter only appears if datalogged by FPM * Datalogging on the FlashPro itself doesn't stop when the car is turned off, and they don't ...

Re: FlashPro for 2019 Acura RDX?

I would be replacing a ‘13 Civic Si with the RDX. I will put the ITBs on a shelf until my S2000 needs another motor replacement.

Re: FlashPro for 2019 Acura RDX?

That’s great news! Is there anything I could do to support that effort? I know I don’t post often, but I’ve been an enormous FlashPro supporter / promoter for about 8 years (mainly for the S2000), and have been daily driving 2 Honda’s with ITBs on FlashPro for several years (passing OBDII inspection).

FlashPro for 2019 Acura RDX?

I'm considering the purchase of a '19 RDX, and the biggest thing holding me back is that there isn't a FlashPro for it. I see that you have supported a few RDX models, so I'm hopeful that you'll offer one for the '19+ models. Do you plan to offer support for it? If so, how soon?

Re: Throttle body swaps

The '06+ S2000 already has a larger diameter throttle body than the '00-'05, which is about the same diameter as the older TB's after having them re-bored to their largest possible diameter. Also, the OEM actuator is strong enough to drive 4 60mm ITB's over 20K+ daily-driven miles without any failu...
