Re: Returning to stock using return fuel system and ID injectors
Thank you......So I should set the fuel pressure regulator to the pressure that is in the stock calibration that way it will get the same pressure delivered as stock. ....Make sense to leave the manifold reference line off since the stock system wouldn't run that way and be a static pressure

Returning to stock using return fuel system and ID injectors
2008 North America civic SI sedan. Taking off my turbo kit. I'm temporarily leaving in my ID injectors and return fuel system. The car fueling was pretty well tuned. All else will be stock including exhaust and intake. I want to load the "stock equivalent tune" Do I put in my injector item...

Can currently owned FP be used to verify a different ECU's status?
I'm in the market for a used AP2 S2000 06'-09' Can I use my current Flashpro that I use for my 08' Si to verify that another ECU is not married or flashed with a aftermarket tune? I would imagine that I would have to return to stock my civic which is fine I just couldn't start it then attempt to hoo...

Re: Can Target Throttle Plate RPM Indexes Be Edited???
Other tuning companies do it...including sct... Well is it that hard to lock the first column or lower cells? Can u do that with an update The way sct does it, you have to write or verbally request calibrator level access to the software package that gives full use ability and allows the drive by wi...

Re: Can Target Throttle Plate RPM Indexes Be Edited???
I think they should make the table editable. But I think they are protecting themselves from people improperly changing the first couple columns. Changes that would give throttle inputs without touching the gas pedal.... Hondata can you lock the 0% column? I wanted to get more resolution between 8-8...

Re: using the app seeing knock counts
I would treat the base map that you loaded as just that....Yes it's for your specific intake but I don't believe they should be used as a final tune. So you said 4-7 knocks per cyl so you had 16-28 knocks in 10 minutes....Probably not terrible but I would want less than 5 total knocks in at least 10...

Re: ID 1000 values and fuel scalars
Ok, thank you for the clarification on the trim. Ok so .25ms = 250 us(microseconds so I guess I will just add that across the board. Do the dead times affect the fuel tables or do they just dictate the injector characteristics upon injector cut like in coasting shutoff for decels? Thank again for yo...

ID 1000 values and fuel scalars
Injector dynamics has values for all pressures for the dead times on their website. For the 1000cc injectors they actually show 1015cc for 43.5 psi so I entered that value for my injector size. I will be running 50 psi base fuel pressure without the vac line hooked up. I have a manifold referenced f...

Re: Forced open loop fuel tuning
Ok sounds good...I thought there was something that when u adjust scalars very far from stock in certain cases the ecu can behave unpredictably. I see in other software there are adjustments for 02 transport delay for people with long tube headers and downpipes for turbos in which you have altered p...

Forced open loop fuel tuning
In my other tuning software for my Ford cars and other software suites it seems the norm for idle and part throttle fuel tuning is to force open loop to get your fuel maps or mass transfer functions dialed in. Then when you are less than 5% from your target you switch back to closed loop. I guess th...

Re: Stumped in Colorado
Ah ok. Yeah my software doesn't have the disable misfire codes. I didn't know the 9th gens needed that. You are talking about a crank relearn I think. In new mustangs you need to do that or you will get misfires when you change a clutch/flywheel. I wouldn't want to disable misfire detection totally ...

Re: Stumped in Colorado
It's unlikely the clutch had anything to do with it at all. You really need to post the calibration and the datalog. Really sounds like you had a water problem. It may have taken a long time to fully expel the water in the system even after purging it. How will you detect any misfires now? You won't...

Re: Low vtec point with smaller turbo
Yes a retune goes without saying....I'm looking for general rules of thumb..I plan on doing most of the tuning then finishing on the dyno...I'm asking if one would anticipate a lower vtec point being beneficial if boost could be brought on earlier?...I see that aggressive cams usually require high v...
