Re: Sharing Tuned K24a2 basemap

Strange to have a 50* vtc and never advance past 23*. You make power with kelfords like that? The 179b's in my frank love almost full advance throughout the entire gear.

Re: Beginning tuning without access to a dyno

For me kmanager is a piece of cake for street tuning its just log after log after edit edit edit.... Very time consuming without a dyno, After what u get is no knock and nice linear a/f and your safe as houses... It will do you till you want a dyno or saved up the brass Exactly right. I think you c...

Re: Password JDM Power Chamber Basemap??

Yeah in response to your question, i would recommend a 2.5 inch exhaust. K24 motors love the 3 inch, but the k20 respond better to a 2.5 to keep torque.

Re: Cammed K20 Kal

Yes full advance is possible. As long as piston to valve clearances are measured prior to tuning you will know the amount of advance that is available. Check out my business page on facebook if you ever have any quesitons, search tktuned!

Re: pra, k20a2, 4-1, 2.5 catback no rbc

just checked your map your a/f doesn't seem custom , or is this the artificialness you are talking about? but to that id say your ignition timing looks very odd /custom , but whats catching my attention is your block k24 with a compression ratio of 11.5.1 with a cammed head along with the valve tra...

Re: pra, k20a2, 4-1, 2.5 catback no rbc

my car doesn't run in positive pressure its not boosted so that top line would be unused on high cam so doesn't matter if you overlap ... or am I wrong? and my a/f is upto 1-2% in very few places my car never reads the top coloum ever in high cam only in low cam but the air may/should differ on oth...

Re: Cammed K20 Kal

I created my own kal. I have my own tuning business, was just looking for one to save me the trouble of jacking with timing and fuel as id never tuned any kelford products before. They have a very stock like idle but slightly more aggressive.

Your fuel curves are crossing into each other on all degree maps. You will get a much more stable af if you keep them separate from each other and flattened, but not an artificial like flattening.
