Re: Traction control - retrofitting abs sensors

hey hondata ! i am currently in the process of installing my Traction control system. I have basically had to retrofit the rear ABS sensors to my oem arms. As there is a little play with the clearances between the pickup sensor and the Tooth ring - what is a good guide distance / clearance to have b...

Nitrous Aux output arm signal

Hello Hondata !

In the process of using an Aud output to fire my nitrous solenoid and wind in fuel / timing corrections etc.

The digital arm signal for this output - that that by applying a ground or a voltage to the Ecu input ?

Cheers :)

Re: 0-5v ethanol content signal

Guys,

The innovate sensors changes frequency to represent ethanol content but also changes the pwm on that frequency to represent the fuel temperature.

Is the Hondata I put pwm sensitive ?

Re: 0-5v ethanol content signal

Hey spunk !

No that's not what I mean.

The innovate ethanol sensor itself will Output a frequency going to the gauge. The sensor will also change the pulse width of the frequency to represent the fuel temperature.

Will this mess with Hondatas interpretation of the signal ?

Re: 0-5v ethanol content signal

One other question. The Sensor changes its PWM on the Frequency signal to represent fuel temperature.

Does the Hondata frequency input need to run on a fixed duty cycle - or will it be ok if it changes.

Cheers :)

Re: 0-5v ethanol content signal

Thanks mate !

No doubt this gauge takes the raw frequency in from the sensor. Do you think I could split this frequency output. One tail to the Hondata and the second to the gauge ?

Cheers :)

0-5v ethanol content signal

Hey Guys, Currently i am looking at a Innovate dual display gauge for ethanol content & Fuel temperature. It uses the GM ethanol sensor - however outputs a 0-5v signal for this measurement (not a raw frequency). Can the 0 - 5v signal be used for the flex fuel adjustment ( as the raw frequency signal...

Re: Resistance based Temperature Sensor > 0-5v input

Hi Hondata is a oem D16 ECT sensor scaled the same as the following. Would the ECT sensor or any of the below be suitable for oil temperature? If i used the OEM honda D16 ECT sensor what pull-up resistor would i need? • Delphi 25036751 (air temperature) • Delphi TS10075 (coolant temperature) • Bosch...

Re: Resistance based Temperature Sensor > 0-5v input

Yes thats correct. Apologies one of the 8 analogue inputs. But could you post a wiring diagram on how to wire the resistance based fluid temperature sensor with the pull-up resistor etc

E85 flex fuel with dual tables - update ?!?

Hello Admin, As the S300 V3 now incorporates native Flex fuel sensor - Currently the only way to tune Flex fuel is a Global Fuel & Timing trim (Very average method) - Can this be changed so the flex fuel works in conjunction with the secondary tables. Ie - 1 table for Pump fuel, 1 table for E85, and...

Re: Advanced Protection - More Strategies (quantity, 8 inputs)

Hi Hondata thank you very much !

Although how do the advanced protections work if you are not using the "and" or "or" functions. If you have it set as nothing will that mean each box will effectively act as its own protection ?

Re: Resistance based Temperature Sensor > 0-5v input

Yes I am chasing a sensor for oil temperature though. And would this just simply be using one of the six analogue inputs ?

Resistance based Temperature Sensor > 0-5v input

Hey Guys, Currently looking at logging oil temperatures to my S300 0-5v inputs. Seems quite hard to find a actual 0-5v oil(fluid) temperature sensor - If anyone knows of one please let me know ! However I have herd that it is possible to convert a resistance based temperature sensor in conjunction w...
