Timing shouldn't cause the knock voltage to read 5 all the time. Sync the timing and disable the knock sensor, I never use a knock sensor on an S300 as they don't work real well.

Best thing to do is replace the original distributor with an OBD1 distributor. That is the only thing I have ever had work. Just take the two CKP wires and run them back up by the distributor.

The Hondata base maps will run a STOCK engine just fine. They are the factory calibrations.

Select create new calibration and try using the ITR map. Import your setting into this map. You can edit both the breakpoints and values with that map. Leave the correction values alone and make corrections to the fuel map itself. You should also change the "rate of change" tables in the c...

Your intake air temp tables are not scaled correctly, it is pulling fuel after 51 degrees of temp. I tried rescaling it for you but the program won't let me change the break points. You may have to start with a new map and import your settings. The scaler should end around 200 degrees not 100. And y...

I found the "rate of change tables" to be extremely helpful. I have 5 for a value in the "slow" boxes, and 99 in the "fast" ones. It makes a huge difference on the freeway above 4000 rpm (gas mileage went up) and at light throttle low rpm around town over the standard v...

Replace the obd2 distributor with an OBD1 version. I have run into this a few times. OBD1 has all sensor in the distributor, run pins that would go to crank sensor to the OBD1 distributor.

MSD Blaster SS coils work great on boosted Hondas, you should be able to run at least a .030" plug gap. I have used this set up on 600+ whp cars no problems. A stock distributor usually shows signs of not having enough spark after 15 lbs or so, depending on the setup. No need for an MSD box, th...

Where was the dyno wideband positioned? In the manifold or at the exit of the exhaust? All of the dyno widebands I have used give lazy readings and are usually lean compared to a sensor in the manifold. I NEVER use a tailpipe wideband to tune a car. I would trust the K-Pro before a dyno wideband any...

What 3 bar map sensor are you using, and what calibration are you using? If you are using a Hondata 3 bar you have to use the Motec calibration, using the MSD calibration will throw an error on decel in some cars.

The older FJO needs 3 voltage points, not the 2 that are currently in 1.3 and up, thats why I asked, thanks.
