Re: s300 problem

this issue for me at least, has to do with the speed limiter, I've had this issue before when downloading a file off the ECU and then uploading it again. SO! please navigate to the parameters window -> under Rev Limits and at the bottom of the page change the speed limiter maximum RPM to something h...

Re: o2 sensor

you can get any wideband sensor, since hondata can be manipulated to receive a multitude of different input voltages for AFR readings, Hondata recommends the PLX, I run a EUGO AEM, and a friend of mine runs an Innovative LC-1, it's like anything you'll have to do some research to see which one has t...

Re: Hear slight pop at idle

Ok so you uploaded some datalogs before right? Just do the same thing with your calibration file that you made to put on your ecu, you said you are using the bone stock itr tune but you say your using a wide band if I make a stock tune on my computer it doesn't use a wideband, and there are about 4 ...

Re: Hear slight pop at idle

hard to say man, i mean you're using a narrow band so you're always going to get rich to lean pulse waves, did you gap your plugs? maybe they aren't gapped close enough, pop is usually a misfire coming from something, hows the dizzy? new cap and rotor? do you have resistored NGK plugs? (you should h...

I don't care if you stated your using the stock itr map, just upload your exact file

Thanks

Re: Hear slight pop at idle

Ok I'll look at your files in 3 hours when I'm off work, your comment "done..." Didn't provide any information as to when the idle had been set.

Re: Hitting rev limiter to early?

Try checking in your options-> sensors settings and look at rpm mine was set to 9500 as a max value, try increasing it to 11000rpm? Also that dwell angle hypothesis seems legit but it didn't look like you were out of parameters, is too bad the sensors list doesn't have more sensors to display under ...

Re: Hear slight pop at idle

I haven't looked at those files yet but I'm going to answer your question with another question, in smanager in the parameters window under the idle tab, have you clicked the help button in the top right corner of the idle tab window and read the process on setting your idle and setting the duty cyc...

Re: feul issues

Your dead times are incorrect for 12 volts, if you have no accessories or lights or music on and your afr are perfect then 14 volt dead times and 16v dead times are probably ok, when you turn electronic devices that draw more amperage your voltage will drop as well, dead times are in place to compen...

Re: ECU map sensor not reading correctly

so i watched that data log and right at the very end the TPS sensor goes down to 0% and then everything just goes all to shit, i wonder if there is an issue with the TPS sensor wiring or grounds, I'll test this with peter tonight if he's available.

Re: ECU map sensor not reading correctly

Yea I was wondering if it was a setting thing but 14 seemed to be a weird number unless for some reason its showing ambient pressure which is 14.7 I'll get Peter to video chat me his laptop screen so I can see all the exact settings

ECU map sensor not reading correctly

I'm helping a friend in the states (i'm from canada) over skype and we've troubleshot his car as far as his map sensor is putting out 2.8volts on the (white)sensor wire, the red/yellow(power) reads 5v and the green/white(ground) reads as a good ground, HOWEVER his ecu is reading either 14psi or -14"...

Re: Datalogs do not appear in Datalogging window

under the settings and the last tab you can set datalogs to auto increment, so if you press f9 to start/stop data logging, when you start a new one it auto saves the old one to a designated folder you wish to have them saved to, and will start a fresh new file and save that one automatically when yo...
