Re: Reflashing to stock

ok, cool! When you plug it in to do that, do you plug the flashpro into the car when saving the tunes on it, or not?

Re: Reflashing to stock

Thanks, but I don't think that will work, as I read in another thread that the return to stock tune can only be done via the Flashpro manager and your laptop.... :(

Re: Reflashing to stock

Hondata: Would it be possible for you to sell me my stock tune in a Flash Pro manager file so that I can load both my tuned version and stock version in the flashpro, and I can then switch between tunes without having to use the laptop every time I want to go back to stock? It's awesome that you can...

Re: FlashPro Requests

Thanks! One more question though, it doesn't really say how to upload the "return to stock" tune to the flashpro....

It only says how to save a tune as a primary or secondary tune, and since the "stock tune" isn't a file, I'm a bit lost on how to do that...

Re: FlashPro Requests

Thank you for that info, and please excuse me for not knowing that. I'm a new Flashpro owner, and just got my 16 Civic turbo tuned with it by a local tuner.. is there a video explaining how to save a tune and the stock tune to the flashpro, and also how to select between the two and do the reflashes...

Re: FlashPro Requests

It would be awesome if you could create a flash pro manager app for both ios and Android, with an adapter that would hook into the USB side of the Flash Pro, and simply reflash a premade tune or return to stock without having to lug around a laptop...... :)

Any chance of that ever happening ? :)

Re: Reflashing to stock

Question for Hondata: How often (if ever) does Honda update the stock ECU tune?

If that happens, do you send an email to your customers and update the flash pro manager for that tune so that when we choose the return to stock tune, we aren't left with a different tune?

Thanks

Re: Is there a way to make a "Valet" tune, or "Teenager" tune?

Yes, but it would be really nice to limit the speed, boost and revs..... Valets and vehicle service providers are well known to have employees who just love to take a car out on the road and run it through a few full throttle runs, often at high speeds.... You need look no further than Youtube, wher...

Re: Is there a way to make a "Valet" tune, or "Teenager" tune?

I just uploaded a detuned file to my ECU, changing the Tune from the +3 Hondata Tune. I changed the boost, by selecting the entire table, and decreasing it by 25%, and also set the rev limit to 4000, and the max speed to 65. While it did feel sluggish compared to my +6 Tune that my local tuner made ...

Re: Is there a way to make a "Valet" tune, or "Teenager" tune?

Wow! Thank you very much ! That was super easy ! That leads me to another question.... If we can reduce the boost, is it possible to increase it above the levels in the +6 tune on a 2016 Civic Touring CVT ? Or are we only able to reduce them on this car? If we "can" increase them, how much would be ...

Re: Is there a way to make a "Valet" tune, or "Teenager" tune?

Thank you.... I think I found an easier way to do it.... I just went into the calibration and instead of trying to mess with all of the boost tables, (that would take too long) I just made a valet tune with a 4000 rpm rev limit and a 30 mph speed limit.... Then, I made a teenager tune that has a rev...

Is there a way to make a "Valet" tune, or "Teenager" tune?

I'd like to know if it would be possible to make a tune that would cut the turbo boost about 25-50% below the stock tune, and also set a speed limit of 65 ? Last time I took my car to a detail shop I noticed it had been driven a mile or 2, when there was no reason for them to do so. My guess is that...

Has anyone gone beyond a Flashpro tune and intake with the 2016 Civic Turbo?

Hello all, I'm just wondering if anyone here has gone beyond the normal Flashpro tune and intake with their 2016 Civic Turbo, and gone with a larger turbo, full headers and exhaust, and maybe even bigger injectors? If so, what has the result been for your 0-60 times, and quarter mile times, as well ...

Re: How to find the ECU number??

Thanks, its the thing with the two wired connections sitting on top, correct? I looked all around that thing, looking for those numbers starting with 37820 and couldn't see them.... :( If you could do a video showing how to locate it, I'd really appreciate it..... :)

How to find the ECU number??

Hello, I have been trying to locate the ECU number on my 2016 Civic Touring.... I believe I found the ECU unit itself, which has 2 large connection ports on the top, but have no idea how to get the cover off. Does anyone have any detailed instructions on how to do this? Why do they make it so diffic...
