Can ROM Editor read non-hondata chips?

I loaded a program from a Spoon chip I purchased into the Pocket Programmer and saved it to a .bin file. When I tried to load the file into ROM Editor, I get an error saying it is not a image file (#4). Has anyone been able to read chips not burned by a Hondata System? Is there a special program tha...

Does anyone have a source for these chips. I'd like to have different programs saved.

Anyone have a similar setup they can share? Any internet sites with downloadable bins?

PR3 ECU (ODB0) and Stage 4B

I'm experiencing flat response from my CRX hybrid. Is this a problem with ODB0 ECUs? Should I upgrade to ODB1? If so, can someone list the issues I need to tackle to convert? I already have a P61 ECU so I just need to work with conversion harnesses, ODB1 Distributor connections, etc.

Serial Cable Specs

When I try to connect my laptop, the screen seems to update with valid values then disconnects. I am using a spare serial cable I had lying around. Anyone have the specs (pinout) on the serial cable?

That's the whole point - can I still change everything even though there isn't an OEM chip in the socket?

Chipped PR3

I have a chipped PR3 I'd like to use for Hondata. Does the stock ROM have to be installed or can I leave the current Spoon chip installed? Does Hondata provide its own chip in which case my question is moot?
