but I have some other questions - how can one tell the crank sensor or TDC (cam) sensors could be going bad or malfunctioning without throwing a code?

the resonator is BurnsStainless - ultralightweight... no louvers the inside is 3" straight thru (we removed it) to inspect it but we did not take it apart to inspect the packing (which i will be doing shortly) my calibration is posted in calibration forum (under hytech cam calibration) http://hondat...

I want to add - I think my 25" resonator is restricting flow & velocity... due to the packing coming loose inside. which will soon be replaced when we removed the the 3" exh we picked up 14whp. this will be addressed & then we will retune... as I just heard my vtc should be down near 20-25 around re...

ok - i hope to find out if this is true... are PRB (usdm rsx-s) & PRC (jdm ITR/CTR) o2 sensors the same? I read on another board that they are different & ECU pins are different. It was also stated they are NOT interchangeable. what if you throw a hondata k-pro'd ecu into the equation? will either w...

doug this question was just presented to me - I would feel better if you answer than I attempt to  Correct me if I'm wrong here, but the vtc gear on the intake on the other side could advance/retard that other side that you're using the arrows for by as much as 25 degrees -- right? edit - i thi...

well the other issue is I think I may not be timed properly (cam install error - links that corresponded to OE cam gear lines were never marked - BEFORE cams were removed)... my timing marks (horizontal) line up exactly @ TDC when i think they should not if you could post a picture of how vertical m...

adjustable exhaust cam gear & how it affects K-pro setti

I need all the information I can get on this... as I believe it can affect ACTUAL vtc & spark compare to what the ECU/K-pro thinks

how it affects it & how much it affects it would be great 8)

lol - I am starting to realize how little I know about this motor & K-pro

The ECU generally will generate an error code if the exhaust or intake is one tooth off, but I would not count on it. In any case the ECU can not determine if both cams are out by the same number of teeth in the same direction. It is fairly simple to put a rod on #1 piston, rotate the engine to giv...
