The 4 pin connectors can be purchased from any dealer for 15.00. If your car is boosted and using a stock map sensor, you may be hitting the boost cut. depending on your tuner, they may have also set a different boost cut. (i.e. 13psi, even though you have a 3 bar map sensor or 9psi if you have a st...

On the 270's you will be at 83% duty cycle at about 8800. I dont like running them that close. A lot better in my opinion to run some 310s so you can run the injector at less duty cycle.

I would reccomend RC 310's.

You can contact me at ricky@silverbeast.com and I can point you in the direction of a RC dealer.

Thanks

Larger injectors usually require a little more timing to idle. Try doing that and increasing the duty cycle on the IACV until you get it started.

You will need:
S200
Datalogging
RomEditor
Laptop

As far as choice on widebands.. either FJO or PLX should be fine.

30 degrees of timing at WOT?? Is this on pump gas or race gas?
At what boost level are you seeing this 30 degrees of timing?

What ignition system? Coil? Wires? Plugs? Cap?

Best thing to do with any JDM ECU is to just send it to Hondata through your dealer to be prepped. They have the skill to soulder that little thing in. They are MUCH more difficult on the JDM ECUs.

I found on the dyno that around 26 degrees timing at WOT until 9500 seemed to be the best on the car I did with almost the same setup. This was on 93 octane and in Texas heat, so... adjust accordingly. This is justr an example. BTW, this car didnt have full exhaust, just a side exit header... i thin...

Add timing down low...it's going to need it. Make sure you have a good vac. source for the map sensor.

Plug your ears, hold on, and pray that the car has full exhaust. :)

Yes, the blue box will have a red indicator light when you turn the key to the ONII position. If the led doesnt function contact the dealer you purchased it from.

If your tuner knows what he is doing a "basemap" should have already been done. If you cant afford to be tuned right now, the tuner should at least burn a basemap with the boost cut enabled at 1psi. If nothing else, put stock injectors back in it and either a stock map or stock ECU and DO NOT BOOST ...

Due to the style and powerband of the Vortech, why couldnt you use a turbo car map? The Vortech is a turbo on a stick, I dont see why it would be a problem. If it's an issue of getting the car to start, then your tuner should have supplied a basemap to get the car started and to them. If you are loo...
