Re: First start problems with Deatschwerks 800cc

Hondata, I have been trying what you suggested, adding and removing 10% at a time to upwards of 60% and I am not noticing any improvements. As I have been doing this I have noticed that in the mornings after the car has sat all night, ECT around 70-77 degrees, the engine starts up without much troub...

Re: First start problems with Deatschwerks 800cc

Assuming nothing else is wrong: Use our DW 800 dead times (they should be around 1.2ms @ 14V). Reset the cranking fuel trim to 0%. Test. If it struggles to start, increase the cranking fuel trim 10% at a time. If it starts and bogs, or floods before starting, decrease the cranking fuel trim 10% at ...

First start problems with Deatschwerks 800cc

Setup: JRSC Aftercooled K24A2 RSX Stock fuel system except for DW 800cc injectors Problem: At first crank after the car has been sitting I am having issues cranking the car, taking 3-5 seconds to crank. As soon as the car cranks I can turn it off, without having changed anything, and crank it up and...

Re: KManager V3.0.3

Hondata wrote:Parameters -> Idle -> Target Lambda
So I tuned idle in open loop to around 13~ and set the Idle Target Lambda to 13.2 and turned closed loop back on. The AF command never went 13.2, instead it jumped around 14.4-14.9. I attached a datalog. Can you help me here?

Re: KManager V3.0.3

Will (can) there be an update that lets us change what a/f ratio we idle at in closed loop? Last time I checked, no matter what you do, if it's in closed loop it's idling at 14.6.

Re: Fuel/Air Compensation

At WOT the high load table is used from 1000 rpm and upwards. At lighter engine loads, the rpm switch point progressively rises to a maximum of around 3500 rpm. It is like a VTEC window. Ah, ok. And the window for medium would be somewhere in between the two others. That makes more sense. Thank you...

Fuel/Air Compensation

Underneath the Fuel Compensation tab in the parameters window, there are two tables for air compensation. However reading the help file this is what it says: "As a guide the low load table is used below 3500 rpm at light manifold pressure, 2000 rpm at medium manifold pressure and 1000 rpm at high ma...

For the closed loop lambda control: To my understanding, the ECU should be obtaining the target A/F ratio by interpolating low load and high load values from the table. And it does not allow the target A/F go beyond the set limit. If that is how it is supposed to work then I think there may be an is...

When changing any setting it performs the change on every table... Where has the cam angles checkbox gone? In the Tables window, there are two sections. The actual tables and the graph (2D or 3D). When this happened to me, I found out you need to increase the size of the actual tables section. To d...
