For every 11 degrees Farenheit you cool your intake charge, that's approximately a 1 HP gain. Actually the air does have time to be heated by the throttle body. I should know, I'm an engineering student and have dealt with some Heat Transfer problems similar to this. A 1 HP increase may not be noti...

stage 4 $800.00 +boost option $200.00 plus upgrade to new stuff $300.00 1300.00 for hondata or 1200.00 for the AEM with six times the features and 30 times the headaches. I don't think it is your fault. I think the interface box needs sent in. I wouldn't just sell it and get an AEM. Those are much ...

Forget what I said. I forgot that your car was running fine. Try burning a stock chip and see if it throws a CEL. The 373 are the 20 pin ICs that we install with the scokets. I have tried burning a chip but nothing happens. The interface box won't connect to the ECU at all. I am trying another ECU ...

THere wa probabl a download failure since the ECU cant read your emulator. Check the manual, I think they discussed it in the troubleshooting section. The manual says it is something to do with the rom. So, I burned a chip and inserted it (The correct way) and same thing. I verified the information...

Major Hondata Problem....Not sure what I did
OK, here is what is happening. Tonight, I decided to play with my wideband O2 sensor and Hondata setup. Some of you might have seen my earlier post on my install. Everything was working perfect. When I hooked the wideband up and started the car, everything was fine althought I had a CEL (which I did...

Yes, it can be set within Hondalogger. Just launch Hondalogger and select the ECU tab. Press F10 to make the connection. Then make the various changes under the RPM Limits option. Regarding the push button method, I'm 100% sure it doesn't work using the stage 2/3/4 programming sequence. I'm thinkin...

Hondata please answer this
I am also an S200 user and confused. I called this morning about how to set the launch control and was told to use the Hondalogger to set these values. So, when I got home, I looked in the Hondalogger only to NOT find them (A place to change them) anywhere. So, I call Hondata again. A different pers...

Re: c51 & c52
So, if my ECU already has these installed, should I remove them or just leave them?Hondata wrote:It is not strictly necessary to install c51 & c52. We've only see one case where an ECU would not work without these, and the issue only occurred while using an emulator.

Hondata Blue Box light?
I am looking at my S200 box because I am getting ready to install everything and I don't see the status light on the box. I see a hole but no light. Is there suppose to be? Does the light just shine through the hole? Just making sure before I go mounting the box. Here is a picture of it. http://www....

Re: Injectors
RC injectors work well. We've got 1000 cc injectors to idle well on a 1800cc engine, 1200s in a 2000cc engine. Stay away from any injector which is not 2 ohms or 12 ohms resistance (e.g. the 6.5 ohm bosche injector). I have 800cc RC Injectors. How do I know I don't have the Bosch ones you have spec...

What injecotrs to get for Hondata....RC?
Just wanting to know if there is a certain injector company that works very well with Hondata. I see Hondata sells RC but I want to know if there is another company that is better suited for Hondata. I am hearing that larger CC RC injectors (720cc and up) don't idle well with HOndata. I am planning ...

Re: Boost controller?
I am pretty new to the Hondata world, but and i'm also excited cause this system sounds awesome. Anyway, with the hondata s200 with the boost feature, would i use a external boost controller for a turbo and then the hondata ecu would adjust to the amount of psi that i am running, or would i control...
