You own a K-series Reflash that's $595
You want to upgrade to a K-Pro that's $500
So your paying $1095 for a K-Pro

For a brand new K-pro it costs $995
So if Hondata let you keep your Reflash you would be basicly paying $95 for it and they would be giving away $500

I use ROMeditor to datalog too, when the CEL shows up I disconnect it save the datalog connect Hondalogger, look at what is triggering it, clear it and then disconnect and go back to ROMeditor to datalog. I don't think I have ever had any other CEL show up. Also it doesn't matter if I have my Wideba...

I got my all my Hondata stuff from http://www.locashracing.com including installation. They don't list any Hondata equipment on the their website (except the manifold gaskets) but they didn't list it back when I bought my setup either. They are also on Hondata's list of dealers.

I use a JDM P72 and it works fine.

I would look over Payn Tech's installation of the Hondata chips, the JDM ECU's with the surface mount tech have a smaller 74HC373 chip they may have some points touching.

Did Payn Tech tell you they tested it before they sent it back to you?

Hondata uses the stock honda map sensor or a GM type 3 bar map sensor for boosted cars. To use the 3 bar you need to have a Hondata.

yeah, when you disable the O2 heater it ignores that error code. I have my O2 sensor wired so the heater is always on, I just switch between Wide or Narrow input at the ECU. The reason I know that my error code is the O2 sensor is because often I?m datalogging and can check the code right away and I...

Are you running in closed or open loop O2 correction?

When i'm in open loop (no O2 correction) occasionally I will get a check CEL for the O2 sensor, but once I turn off the car it's gone with no record of being there.

s300 ???

When I went to update my ROM version in ROM Editor I noticed that it says "V3.0 and later (s100, s200, or s300)".

Is this a mistake or is this something new coming?

If you want to make it run with the stock tables just use the "Create a New ROM Image" button in ROM Editor. Choose P28 for the ECU and choose Standard Tables.

I have a 90 Civic and when I first got it my Main Relay was bad. It's located under the dash above the hood opener. The relay worked when it was cool, in the mornings or evenings but in the middle of the day when it was hot out the relay wouldn't work. This may be the problem you are having. For my ...

No, when you tell Rom Editor which ECU you have it just needs to know so it can program the chip for that ECU. Why are you using P30JDM standard tables? you have: a B18c engine a US P72 ECU and 310 Injectors these are the important things to make a base map. In Rom Editor you should choose standard ...
