RPM PIN OUT ON PRA ECU?

Hi I was thinking about trying the "Road Dyno" on my car to try a bit of on-road fine tuning. The "Road Dyno" needs to be connected to a timing source, eg spark plug lead or ECU RPM output. My UK Civic Type-R with K20A2 does not have the old style spark plug leads so I think the ...

Is there a way to start KManager with a calibration open and datalog at the same time? I like KManager to open the currently loaded calibration each time it starts. I normally do this by putting the calibration in the startup folder so it is opened by KManager. I can't find a way to add the "da...

Have you get colder spark plugs or you still stay with the stock ??! I removed the m40i's a couple of days ago after a couple of hundred miles and they looked as if they had been overheated. They had little metal deposits on them too. There had been almost no knock. I put in the colder m45i plugs b...

problem fixed shitty gas from shell! very sensitive to gas dam k series  I suspect I had the same problem. I always use Shell V-Power. During the oil refinery strike near us, my car started knocking heavily which in turn fouled my spark plugs. Changed the spark plugs a few weeks later, fresh ...

I have a UK Civic Type-R, JRSC, Mugen Header with cat. The car was dyno tuned with the cat in place using a tailpipe probe. Later, I added an aftermarket wideband for AFR info. When the wideband was in the primary location the target and actual AFR were very similar. Now I have the wideband in the s...

I don't think you can use the TPS Scaling for that purpose. It is a great idea anyway! A Valet Mode activated by a switch or KManager would be very useful. I know this is a stupid idea but I would like to share it. Set the over heating temprature something below 90 degrees Celcius and check Go into...

In the help file see V1.2.4 under "What's New" "? To automatically start datalogging when KManager is started use a command line parameter of 'datalog' (without the quotes). " Nice one! I missed that as I went from V1.2.3.5 to V1.2.8. Don't think I used the car when the in betwe...

KMANAGER COMMAND LINE PARAMETERS?

Hi Hondata Are there any command line parameters we can use with KManager yet? Datalog/record on startup would be handy. Another handy feature would be to autosave a datalog on closing KManager or shutting down pc in case of forgetting to save it. I've datalogged a couple of times and lost it by swi...

Turns out it was the spark plugs causing the knock, due to being fouled up and not providing a good spark. Replaced them and now almost no knock at all! Car's running perfect :-)

SPARK PLUGS CAUSING SERIOUS KNOCK!

I have been having a bit of a knock problem in my Civic Type-R with JRSC. Lots of solutions were tried, retarding ignition, increasing fueling, etc. with no solution. I took out the spark plugs last week and they were gubbed! Fouled over, overheated, metal deposits from detonation or overheating the...

GARAGE SERVICE MODE USING REV LIMITS PARAMETERS?

Hi I was wondering if anyone could recommend rev limit parameter settings that would be suitable for setting before putting the car into the garage for a service. I would like to limit the power of my car in case one of the mechanics chooses to take the car for a blast. I thought of just setting the...
