A friend of mine wants to remove his kpro from the ecu,
when doing so and starting the car, its not working.
The car starts but is running in emergency mode.

How can you remove the kpro and make it standard again to run on the normal ecu alone with standard map?

Use the cai tuned kal.

The FD2R should have 225 ps stock, so perhaps there is something wrong mechanically?

You should check the manual, there u can get the info.

It should be ok for that already, u have issues with it?

And what does it cost?

Is there a way to follow lessons online? I'm from Belgium, but very interested in this proposal.

This is impossible to predict how to compensate unless you log with the wideband or go to a tuner.
Can you make a log driving around in vtec then i can check it, but im not a pro in that.
Perhaps its better u ask someone who does etuning here.

I have an unofficial dealer/tuner here in Belgium, which gets his hondatas from CPL who states the following: In order to receive any warranty on flashpro and kpro we have to lock the map on the ecu. This way it is impossible to alter the map on the car by the client because he does not get the pass...

Spunkster are u saying this is a software problem of hondata?
So i replaced mine for nothing then? It gave the error right after fitting the hondata, mine is a EU EP3

Try the version 3.1.6

Replace the oxygen sensor with a new OEM one.
