Re: Ethanol content sensor readings
That was the serpentine belt loose (no tensioning system, three-pulley combo).

Re: Ethanol content sensor readings
Hate to be a squeaky wheel, just looking for any input regarding changing the filtering speed.
Thank you!

Re: Nitrous on preloaded calibration HELP!
You should really tune the car completely naturally aspirated properly before considering using the nitrous control features. Nitrous is quick, and easy, but if you don't dot your "i's" and cross your "t's", its only job will be to turn your engine's internals into externals. Wha...

Re: Ethanol content sensor readings
I do feel the filtering can smooth it over a bit, and make the signal more consistent. Can we perhaps have access to the filtering of the signal? What would be cool is just to use the last flex content value after a certain MAP threshold is hit. One can assume the E content isn't changing in boost/...

Side-note: Vit, is that a DynaPack test log? It sure looks like one!

Re: Ethanol content sensor readings
Fair enough. More or less, I am interested in knowing if the sensor should be grounded separately or directly to the board. The sensor's reading in K-Pro differs from the Kent Moore J44175 Fuel Composition Tester I have in-house. The fuel sample from the car tests at a rock-solid 135Hz output (85%),...

Ethanol content sensor readings
Hello, I have a car with an ethanol content sensor installed inline on the car's return line. Attached are a few logs of the car at WOT, and as you can see, under higher load, the sensor briefly reads lower ethanol content values, then comes back up. The engine of topic is fed by twin 340lph fuel pu...

Re: KManager V4.0.2
Interested in comparing front to rear wheel speeds, although, ponying up for the traction control would be able to show me that. :PHondata wrote:The alternate speed sensor is used as the speed input, so you only would see the rear wheel speed. What are you trying to do?

Re: KManager V4.0.2
With the alternate VSS options, is there any way to use the OEM sensor as a logged value and an alternate (say, wheel speed sensor) at the rear on a FWD car as the primary reference?

Re: Max VSS reading, max boost solenoid duty
I figured out the 90% cap problem. Total rookie move on my part, and forgot I only have 90% maximum defined in the lookup table.
As far as the VSS goes, you can pretty clearly see in the log I posted the gear compensation move down at high RPM from 5/6 to 4.

Re: Max VSS reading, max boost solenoid duty
"No" to both?
How is the K-Liner/all the other Hondata land-speed cars seeing VSS? Or is the VSS not even referenced?
Thanks for the fast response!

Max VSS reading, max boost solenoid duty
Hello! As of this year, I have been participating in 1,600ft roll racing events in which my speed exceeds 159mph. I have noticed the VSS stops logging at 159mph, although my speedometer will continue to climb (wired to a SpeedoHealer v4 on a JDM CTR cluster, making it a 190mph speedo). Is there any ...

Injector driver durability
Does an injector driver in the K-Series ECU's work 100% to it's capacity until it's smokey death? Or is the death gradual? As in, would the injector driver stop working at "X"-amount of duty when used with low impedance injectors (without resistor box), or would it work up until the whole ...
