Cam is Always 5 Degrees Behind CamCMD
Hello, I've noticed very recently that my actual cam angle is trailing the commanded angle by 5 degrees in all situations. I pulled up some datalogs from previous runs and this has only started fairly recently. I think a recent update to FP Manager may actually be responsible, but I'm not sure which...

Any chance this will make it into a future update?

Re: FlashPro Requests
Some suggestions.. 1. Option of using CEL to indicate knocking. 2. Change cam angle preset value for fuel and ign map. (have 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 cam angle) Both options already exist and work well. I would definitely like to see option 1 applied to 9th generation Civics. Currently, this looks to only...

Re: Starting a new calibration
You don't *have* to dyno your car for a proper tune, but if you're not willing to accept the risks (and research) that come with self-tuning, it may be in your best interest. I believe there are also several e-tuners in the 9th gen community who will tune your car over the internet based on your dat...

Re: FlashPro Requests
I wouldn't mind seeing a calibration compare tool similar to what TunerCat does. You load in your two calibrations, then the software highlights every cell that is different and can be switched to show what the difference is. The current comparison tool only seems to tell you that there *are* differ...

Re: High/low load Closed Loop Crossover
Thanks you the quick reply! Sorry if I wasn't more clear. I don't really care if it switches into open loop at 70 kPa, as that's kind of a middle ground. In the closed loop/lambda tables in the calibration window, there's a handful of tables: Closed loop target lambda: I set to 15.7 Closed loop targ...

High/low load Closed Loop Crossover
So, I've been running a tune lately that will go lean during low load/cruise, which it does quite well and has been achieving great mileage, *but* it doesn't seem to cross down to the high load setting when accelerating onto the highway, etc. In the Flashpro documentation, the info on the closed loo...

Feature Suggestion
Is there any possibility for future releases to have a feature that can show additional custom graphs for things calculated on the user's computer (saving the FP unit cycles during datalogging). For example, I would like to be able to check things like calculated engine load and instantaneous mpg, w...

Re: Fuel Suggestion Inconsistencies
Yeah, 5% isn't huge, but it seems weird that running the alternator uses that much more fuel. I'm not terribly concerned with the highway trims being off, but the lower cam cells showed some crazier things like +3% to work and -12% on the way home. Some of them are over 15% difference in one directi...

Fuel Suggestion Inconsistencies
I posted a while ago about how my car was running lean in the morning and rich in the evening during my 45 minute commute to work (basically 20-ish minutes of cruising at 65). For a while I thought it was just something inconsistent about running an AFM tune, so I switched to MAP and dialed in the n...

Is it possible to import CSV files into flashpro?
I know Flashpro can export .fpdl to .csv files, but it can't seem to load .csv files back in. Is there something I have missed, or some kind of trick people use? Basically, I'm trying to combine several datalogs into one large file so that the cells I use less often will have a better sample size to...

Re: A/F Ratio adjust
I definitely recommend doing a lot of reading before you play with your base map any further. 14.7 A/F reading from your O2 sensor essentially means your car is burning exactly the correct amount of fuel for the amount of air going into it. The only reason to adjust this area of your table would be ...

Comparison of Calibrations?
I'm still somewhat new to Flashpro, so I may be talking out of line here, but it seems like the capability to compare different calibrations is very limited. Example: I load in my current calibration, and I want to compare it to one I was using a few months ago, so I hit File>Compare and load in the...

Re: Long-Term Fuel Trim "Valleys"
So, over the last few days I ran a tune with the LTFT turned off, and made some adjustments to the AFM map to compensate for the peaks and valleys. It looked like a large part of the problem was that the fuel trim varies wildly at idle, and it's so inconsistent, there doesn't seem to be much to be d...

Re: Long-Term Fuel Trim "Valleys"
That makes sense. I wouldn't have thought to disable the LTFT for monitoring these changes, but I see how it should help. I'll post back when I get some data on this.
