Yes, response this time was fantastic! Thank you. And also thanks for such quick timing on a fix!

Re: What exactly does tplate % represent in datalogs?
Well, like I said, let this be a lesson learned. 6 years is a long time to wait for support. I'll copy/paste what I said on S2Ki about not being able to tune the background table. So I don't believe it is that urgent for Hondata to include this stuff in the next release. You can tune for an adequate...

Re: Hks supercharger and driving to get tune
I can say this without liability, that you will be fine driving 5 miles off boost and under 3500RPM on basically any tune that starts and keeps the engine idling.

OK, fair enough. And in that case, thanks for your support. :)

Re: 'Out of date' error message
This behavior is not our choice, but unfortunately a necessity. We are going to change this so that you get a warning (at least a month) before needing to update. Also we will extend the application 'lifetime'. How is this not your choice..? Why does the application need to check every time it open...

Re: What exactly does tplate % represent in datalogs?
Very interesting. Thank you for tracing the code a little better. I'm disappointed it took so many years for you to take some of our posts seriously enough to look into it. I've disassembled close to a 100 relevant maps out of a late 90s BMW ECU so I know how easy it is to check the math on values u...

Re: Add Launch ignition retard and fuel enrichment
How will this work when the factory limiter is a fuel cut? Will it require a code change to ignition cut limiter? Sounds cool but I don't think I would use it as I'm afraid to launch the car as it is. Ignition cut limiter would be nice though for shifting on a road course. A breath of fuel in betwee...

Re: lean tip-in
BTW, Hondata, it's very likely that this stuff is in the section of code that deals with transient fueling. it seems that most if not all OEMs use some form of predictive wall-wetting logic.

Re: lean tip-in
I've been playing with this and I am unable to see any effects. Maybe I need to improve my testing methodology but these tables are not having any noticeable effect on my described problem. Also, just for confirmation, my other thread about "Throttle flow vs opening" doesn't have an effect...

Re: FlashPro Requests
flow vs. throttle angle I plan to write a thread about this feature on S2KI soon, since I don't think anyone realizes what that table can do! I think most people would guess that it's just to eliminate CEL's, which it definitely does. However, it also improves idle smoothness, fuel economy at idle,...

Re: lean tip-in
Stock throttle body.
Also, I have access to HDS and ran the ETCS tests where it runs the throttle body through some correlation tests. Passed.
Can I datalog an ECU that is not 'married' to the FlashPro? If so, I can try to find some 2006+ S2000s locally and datalog them using mine.

Bump. Lots of people reporting the same issue on S2ki.com. Can we PLEASE have the ability to tune Accel Enrichment?

Re: Throttle body swaps
Cool. Now how about similar measurements for systems with a separate throttle controller? :D I'd like to measure mine and compare for purposes of diagnosis. Also, how did you measure 'peak' current? Did you mechanically limit travel while actuating the pedal? Or is it actually a measure of inrush cu...

Re: Phantom Knock on #2 cylinder?
I have. Maybe I screwed something up? I did it a few months before installing a FlashPro which was about 8K miles ago. The exhaust valves were within 9 to 12 thou but I adjusted them to 11. And the intake valve were pretty much all at 9 thou. I guess I can take the valvetrain cover off and check aga...
