Oops, your injectors are indeed quite large. Some other members have reported similar issues and (great) variance of AF ration according to external temperature.

I wouldn't care about readings below 172. This is an area you will be hte first minutes of driving and you are meant to run rich. Anyway, you are not supposed to step on the gas pedal too much when cold so just ignore it and keep good values for the 172-192 area.

Do you get a check engine light? Who tuned the car? Check your injector multiplier.

? about base maps and fueling

THe stock JDM b16a maps given by Hondata have a fuel value of 959 at WOT at about 7500rpms. THis gives more than 100% duty cycle for the stock 240cc injectors. Is it possible that Honda uses a program that drives the injectors at 100% or more?

This is normal. The timing is not stable and it is not identical to the table maps as the ECU takes into account many parameters to define timing (table value, water temp, air temp etc, AF ratio etc)

Is low vacuum at idle a problem?

I have a b16a with 0.022" milled head, CTR cams and intake cam advanced 1.5 degrees. At idle the car works exactly at the third column (410mbar absolute pressure). Is this a problem? Shoud I retard the intake cam and/or advance the exhaust a little (note that 0.022" milling should retard t...

Maps for stroked b16?

Which base map would you use for a 1.8 stroked b16a with R cams? I am thinking to use the JDM b16a and upscale the fuel maps to 1.8 displacement through the injector multiplier tab.

Timing tuning guidelines

I will soon go to a dyno to tune my s200 equipped b16a. My car is NA with all major bolt-ons, CTR camshafts and higher compression. I will have a wideband so fuel tuning should not be difficult on a load dyno. However, tuning timing is not something I consider easy. Any general guidelines? Which bas...

You mean 0.042" jet? Isn't this supposed to give an 80hp shot?

Probably, this has nothing to do with Hondata. It's either your coil or ignition. If this is a 92-94 Civic, then ignition failure is very common.

The problem is that some USB to serial ports do not assign a com port. Hondata needs a com port.

An s200 with boost option enabled. You also need datalogging, rom editor and pocket programmer if you tune yourself. An emulator would be nice too.

Detonation for low loads/rpm

I use the base map of the JDM SiR b16a. My engine is a b16a with: CTR cams, 10.85CR and all bolt-ons. I get detonation with premium unleaded for low loads (columns 4-7) at 2000-3500rpm. I had to retard timing by as much as 6 degrees to stop it. Does anyone know why this happens? I mean, I would expe...
