These files are the ones used in the video :

6vtctuning50deg.movYou can use them to examine the fuel changes made. These files were used to create the calibration K20A2 with ITR cams, header and cold air intake as supplied with the K-Pro system.

Yes, it is a Type S. And the Hondata materials specifically say and I quote With a naturally aspirated engine the cam advance should be set to maximum just after VTEC engagement until about 6500-7000 rpm. From 7000 rpm (where the cam advance should be near 50 degrees) to redline the cam is retarded ...

I havent no. Im tuning the car on the street.

As far as the 50* cam angle, its cause its recommended by the Hondata videos and training manuals, yet I dont ever see people using it.

However, since I am throwing a code for VTEC Oil Pressure sending unit or whatever, I havent gotten to tune WOT much.

that map is long gone. It didnt knock too bad, but would every once in a while.

The map im using right now is this one.

The cam angles at WOT I got from Hondatas training videos, and they seem to be working well for me.

Cranny, Need Help with Datalog Please!

So I got my Kpro in today, loaded up a starter kal and went on my way. I noticed throughout much of my run that my IATs were ~140. For this reason the built in ign. retard in KPro kept lowering my WOT timing. Because of this, everytime I would go from high load->low or low->high and it had to be com...

Help With Start UP Kal. Cranny?

Maybe its just me and my untrained eye, but your car doesnt seem to like the drop off in cam angles around 8500. The ignition stays the same so I cant imagine that being the cause of the raise in knock level.(though as a side note i think this car could use a degree or two more ignition at WOT) Also...

Those cam angles are crazy man. LOL. 40* @ 2200 at WOT? 30* at low cam Xover and 50* at high cam? The gear cant move that fast...You can see in the datalog the gear trying to catch up...

Id start with the Toda Header kal and tune from there if your 02-04...otherwise use the 05 kal and add fuel on the high cam for the header.
