K-Pro itself does not get rid of that...you have to tune the car so it does not knock. I understand that, but that's not what I was asking. What I was asking is the behavior (not retarding anything) is constant across both open and closed loop. If so, why is there a K Retard value... what possible ...

Knock retard with kpro

I realize that kpro gets rid of the retard ignition on knock from happening... but my quesiton is is that only at WOT or is that additionally for closed loop cruising? The reason I ask is due to the sheer existance of the K.Retard value. In the sensors window.

BTW: the reason I went with 2.75 piping to 3" muffler is because I'm going to be adding a supercharger in the near future... I realize that it isn't the best for mid range N/A power.

I have a lean spike right where the VTS goes on. I am not getting cut (using the first default lean protection setup) and it's only for literally ONE frame... so, I'm assuming that this is normal and nothing to worry about. I'm also beginning to wonder if I should just get the kpro first and have some time with it and kmanager before jumping right into my first turbo application. That sounds a bit more sane. N/A seems to be more forgiving from what i've read.
