S300 "chip cooler"

Post by eTiLiKo »

Hi, a customer came to me with an S300 to be installed in a P28.
I found the "chip cooler" ( is this the correct name? http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/2840 ... 00x245.png ) that doesn't glue well. I have tried to put an adhesive thermal pad but this also doesn't glue well.
Can you suggest me a solution?
Andrea

This sounds like it may be a counterfeit. Go to http://www.hondata.com/s300_counterfeit.html to check this.

No it is original, I cannot see any of the evidence of a counterfeit.
So, what is the solution for this cooler?

You do not have to use the heatsink.
