I am planning a JRSC install on my 94 Integra GSR. I have an opportunity to buy an S300 V1 for $250. Is this a good purchase, or would I be better off finding a V2? I cannot find specs. on the V1 on the website, just upgrade info.
Thanks!

Re: S300 V1 or V2
The V1 does not have the new features that the v2 has added.
Re: S300 V1 or V2
I could not determine from your website if the version 1 has any dataloggin only inputs. Also, how much of a problem was the battery powered memory?
Re: S300 V1 or V2
If you have doubts about buying used products, then you should purchase brand new through one of our dealers.
Re: S300 V1 or V2
My question is not about new versus used. My question is about the reliability and features of the version 1 units. Your preference to answer my questions with the least amount of information possible has helped me make the descision to avoid buying any Hondata products.
Thank You.
Thank You.
Re: S300 V1 or V2
Apologies if your questions were not answered. The S200 V2 has more features (datalogging memory, analog inputs) and a battery-less non volatile memory. The reliability of the battery ram is ok, but the rated life is 10 years, so a S200 V1 could need the non volatile memory being replaced in the next 5 years.

Re: S300 V1 or V2
Thank You! That is the type of information I was looking for. To clarify, what does the version 1 allow you to datalog? Is there a list of fields somewhere?
Thanks,
