Hondata Boost Solenoid

Post by sergiokazoom »

If i have a 4port boost solenoid hooked up per hondata instructions and wanted to run off of the wastegate would i just set the kpro boost control settings to "Maximum Boost at 100% Duty/Normally Closed" ?
And do i also still have to disconnect the vacuum hose going to the top of the wastegate if i set it to Normally closed and wanted to run off of just wastegate pressure?

Just set it to 1% duty cycle and it should have such a small effect that it will run off the wastegate spring. Or if you really want to run off of the wastegate spring, just disable boost control.

Thanks for the reply. But i thought if you disabled the boost controller it would set you up at maximum boost? If you disable it dont you have to remove the vac hose on top of wastegate and plug it?

It is a normally closed solenoid, so it will go to the wastegate spring.
