hey guys, quick question
a buddy of mine is considering the system, and we ran into a question tonight talking it up.
if he uses a p28 on an LS motor, would it throw a code? basically, im asking about the vtec system. to me, at X rpm, if there is no input detected, it will throw a code.
things i thought of were to set the vtec point to like 10,000 or something so it would never hit. but what about fully disabling vtec?
thoughts? ideas? facts?
thanks!

P28 with LS
It is possible to disable VTEC on the P28 with the s100/s200. You can set VTEC point to 10,000 rpm, or it is possible to get the ECU to switch tables so that you can map fuel & ignition to 11,000 rpm.
