JDM CL7 Accord euroR?

Post by shiggy »

Hi there,

I was wondering if K-Pro can be used for JDM CL7 Accord EuroR?
The car has K20A engine. however the ECU# is different.
Unfortunately I haven't check if the PCB and processor is similar to
ITR's one....

Does anyone know any information about applications?

No, the K-Pro cannot be used for this vehicle. We currently do not offer anything except a gasket for this vehicle.

is this still the case? Will a K-Pro ever work in a CL7?

Nice story.
Ok. Lets say it's possible to put CL7R harness to Integra's DC5 ECU with some harness modification. But will it work properly?
Can any Hondata dealer do that for me?
What's the official Hondata's opinion? Can anyone tell me?

...however possible to do. Is that correct?
Anyway. Thank you, Spunkster, for such a direct answer.
I really want to have K-Pro and to be honest I'm seriously surprised that such a quick Honda can't have it just like that.
I understand It is not supported by Hondata but...
Is there a light in that tunnel?

It's possible.. My frens CL7R is currently using K-Pro and he is happy with the result after installing it.

You might wan to contact Joel of Driven. He might be able to help you. :D

Note: you'll need to buy a used DC5 ECU, K-Pro board and the harness to get it working.

Dual ECU harness + DC5 kpro compatible ECU is your way. Hundreds of euros are running this across the world for many years.
