Can I still use my hondata with my new motor?

Post by erics99si »

I currently have the hondata 3b that was connected to a P28 ecu that previously ran my b20vtec turbo application... Now returning back to N/A, I've purchased a B18C-R that uses the P73 ecu as its factory computer.

Is there anyway I can salvage my current 3b and somehow change it to N/A version to work with my ITR motor and the P73 or do I have to sell it and get a different hondata unit that is designed for N/A

I love Hondata and the Stage 3 options, however I'd like to keep hondata with my newest setup without starting all over... If I can't convert my 3b into a n/a stage 3 unit, does anyone wanna trade me a n/a unit that will work with my new motor for the hondata 3b that I have now?

You can still use your 3B but also need to use your P28. use an OBD2-OBD1 conversion harness.

My friends shop car netted 177WHP on shitty pump gas bone stock. 172WHP when we re dynoed after installing power steering.
