I just bought flashpro for the first time. Can I still lock it to my car and use it if my ecu is reflashed??

Also, I bought that car used from a dealer. The ECU was tuned already when I bought it! That means either it was reflashed, or the guy tuned it with flashpro, and didnt unlock it from the car when he traded it in. IF its not reflashed, and his flashpro is still locked to my car, what can I do?? Can I still use my flasphro with it and lock it, or do I need it flashed back to stock first??
