We do not have any ECU applications for automatic transmissions.

Hi Hondata,

How about manual transmission ?
I have this engine on my 2006 Euro Honda Accord CL7 , 5-speed manual transmission.
As I'm aware this engine can be found on our Euro Accord CL7, Acura CSX, and Honda Civic ( US and Japan market) .

Can you please develop any products that will improve the performances on this engine , anything (cams, headers, reflash , ...) ?

There are a lot of owners of this engine that will be interested into this !

Cheers,
Dinu

I doubt we will be able to do anything. Can you send photos of the ECU, showing the inside and any serial numbers?

Asia Civic FD Manual Tranny

Post by Jmad »

I am looking to modifying my Asian K20 which I believe is the JDM Z2 engine. Looking at dropping in a supercharger and a management system. I have the drive-by-wire system, just to mention.

Anything you could recommend to go with my inteded project?

Jmad I'm interested in this solution also (we both seem to have the same engine) .
Maybe you can reply with the ECU information Hondata requested me (above) .. I did not know how to find that info.

I've also found this on youtube, but don't know who they are or anything ...:

Yup! Seems like we both have the same assistance. I saw that civic on the dyno and I would love to know what supercharger they adopted since I do want to drop one in.

Perhaps I can get photos of my ECU as well and serials so that they may be able to direct me to something. By the way, where are you situated?

I'm in Bucharest (Romania) but I still hope maybe Hondata will make something for us to unleash more hp from this engine ...
Post here the pics with the ECU and see what Hondata will say about this.

Wow, you are on the other side of the Globe from me. I'm in the Philippines. Let's hope that the pictures you posted will help out. I'd appreciate if you would let me know if you get any feedback from Hondata!

Thanks....
