Individual cylinder trim and knock count

I see flashpro has these capabilities. Will Kpro ever have the ability to count knock by cylinder and trim ignition by cylinder?

This would be an awesome addition.

Though I can't answer for them... I will venture the answer's no.

The stock Honda ECU has special circuitry for only one knock sensor. What you're asking for requires a lot of engineering to do right; just adding three more sensors is no guaranty of picking up knock on only that cylinder. Then there's the extra amplifier circuits...

I don't think the 06+ Civic's have 3 extra knock sensors/circuits and flashpro can do it.. My thinking is that the knock by cylinder is not done by individual sensors but by calculating when the knock occurred and then correlating that with the piston that just had ignition.. or something like that.

The RSX ECU does not record knock per cylinder like the Civic.

Does this mean it can't be done or it would require additional development to enable this functionality in KPro?

Possibly both. We can't tell if it is possible or not without going through the development process.
