- serial number of your K-Pro
2728
- ECU part number (starts with 37820) and serial number (the number under the part number)
37820-PRB-A06
- KManager version (not 'the latest')
V3.2.4
- a datalog of a problem
could not do a datalog due to KManager going offline
- what sort of vehicle you have
97 EK Hatchback
- anything about the car which has been modified from stock which may affect the ECU (don't include what sort of rims you have nor stereo etc).
K20a, GT35R Turbo, 1000cc ID, RBC Manifold, IACV delete, Idle air assist delete, Air Conditioning
- a specific description of the problem
I just upgraded my older Kpro to the Kpro V3. Just received it from Hondata last week Friday. I've also installed the latest Kmanager version (V3.2.4) onto my laptop and installed my ECU in my car. Here is my problem, the ECU connects to the laptop with IGN ON, it reads "Online", then when I start the engine it goes "Offline". There are times when the car is running, KManager stays "online" for a few seconds then it goes "offline". I tried using another USB cable, but it's still the same. Before sending my ECU for the upgrade, it hasn't given me these online/offline problems.
-When and where you got the K-Pro
Purchased K-Pro through my friend, but sent it recently to Hondata to receive the upgrade due to my K-Pro being the older version without the datalogging feature

Thanks in advance

NGK spark plugs. Not exactly sure which ones, but I had them in my car when I previously got it tuned but couldn't really tune it because it didn't have the datalogging feature.

What exactly is the part number of the spark plugs?

All K-Pros have always had the ability to datalog.

I'll get back to you on the spark plug but as for the k-pro, I didn't have the on-board datalogging feature. It was the older k-pro's in which I had to pay the $250 upgrade

The NGK R5672A-9 is a 'racing non-resistor spark plug'. See viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3093

Thanks, originally I had NGK BKR7E plugs. My tuner told me to switch it to the NGK R5672A-9. Which spark plugs do you guys recommend for turbo application?

Once again, thank you.
