first off my kpro board serial number is 05005156. its installed in a pnd ecu. it doesn't look counterfiet.

this ecu was working fine for me in my all motor ek hatch. well i took the car apart about a month ago and the ecu has been sitting ever since inside my house.

i have another prb kpro that i use in my rsx that works perfectly fine.

i tried to hook up the pnd kpro to my rsx and download the calibration from it. When i plug the usb cable into my laptop the d1 led on the kpro board flashes red and will not recognize the ingition being on. i also went and tried it in the hatch and same problem.

does anyone know what might be wrong with it? thanks~ Matt

Have you tried swapping the K-Pro baord from one ECU to the other?

i took the chip out of the prb ecu and put it into the pnd ecu. now d2 lights up green and d1 flashes red but won't recognize the ignition being on.

It sounds like the K-Pro is workign correctly, but it is the ECU that is damaged. THis is caused must likely by improper or faulty wiring. You need to resolve this before attempting to replace the ECU.

i just tried it again in my hatch and it connects and is able to upload and download calibrations. i wonder what caused that to happen. the only wiring in the hatch is a hybrid racing swap harness and its grounded properly. i don't see how that would be the problem. my rsx wiring is fine too.
