about the knock control

why the 'ignition(mbt)' be lower than the 'knock ignition limit' and ' low octane knock limit ignition advance' before 60kpa?thanks

That means that maximum power is achieved before the engine knocks. Black line = MBT = max power, red/blue lines = where knock starts.

more advance igniton timing not equal more power.
